I have been shopping around for a PSU for about a week now.. and yet to find anything that just says DAMN.. gotta have this!   Mainly due to quality and price. I have gotten a few recommendations from  some people, but yet to actually make a decision.  I need some more input. This PSU (in the title) has a freakin 10 year warranty!! I never seen that! So I ask.. hmm.. why? LOL  Something wrong with it? Will if fail multiple times during that decade? Reviews and such has made my decision way too hard! Also.. not really knowing what I'll need for a PSU.. here's a rundown of what I'm looking at building:
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4GB SC (or FTW version)
Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing
COOLER MASTER Megaflow 200 R4-LUS-07AR-GP 200mm Red LED Case cooler
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SSD
I already have a Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB drive waiting.

NOW..2 questions.. that PSU, and the recommended Cooling.  #1. I do plan on doing SLI LATER ON, as well as more RAM. So is this PSU capable of handling all this??  If so.. then please let me know how much room I have left for additional fans, and/or case fans if need be. (budget is around $120 or less U.S)
#2. I have read a lot about the new Haswells running a bit hotter than the last gen. Would the cooler I have selected be suffice for stock? And maybe a boost to 4.0ghz or higher  OC? If not.. then please point me in the direction of the best price component I will need. Also.. I have heard that the AIO coolers fail reasonably quick due to increased temp from OC'ing.  Either way.. help!  (budget is around $100 or less.. and that's pushing it) :)
Thanks all in advance!

    Firstly, check out here:
    http://www.evga.com/articles/00722/

750w Gold will be just fine for GTX 760 and SLI in the future.

For cooling your rig, the 212 Evo should be fine and is great bang for buck. As for AIO coolers dying? I've had my H100 for well over a year and it still cools just as well as the first day I got it. i5-2500k @ 4.4Ghz. H100 set to Medium fan speed.

As for the 10 year warranty, I think you don't have a very good understanding of how warranty works. Lets say that a manufacturer believes that their product will last 5 years. That's pretty good for PC components so they market it, problem is, nobody will buy it without a guarantee that if something goes wrong, they will be covered. Now, the manufacturer can't set the warranty at 5 years, because that would be a waste of money and resources. So instead, they will set the warranty at around 3 years. This means they will warranty the product when it's in it's best shape and most likely to not die, but if it does, atleast they are there for you.

In short, warranties usually are a good indicator of what the manufacturer actually believes that 99% of their products will last to. They don't want to do RMA's and exchanges because it's not cost effective, so they try to cover themselves just as much as they will be covering you.

So EVGA's 10 year warranty means they must be very very confident that their product will last beyond 10 years.

Thanks for clearing that up. I have been looking at this one as well. But I guess my concern is that it likes like it has 4 rails? The gtx 760 cards need at least 30A on a single 12v rail. So that's where all this can be confusing for a an armature like myself :)

    Scotty Mac,

I never saw a 10 year warranty on a PSU before either but EVGA must be extremely confident in that product. You could say that they are placing their money where their mouth is as it does cost them money to warrantee a product.

Now to your parts/components list. I'm too lazy to try to figure out the wattage needed to run what you have listed so you could try one of those online PSU calculators. They will get you into the ballpark as well as give you some ideas if you customize your rig with more hardware down the road. Also, when selecting a PSU make sure that it is certified for Haswell.

Your CM cooling solution, in my opinion, will take care of business. Just make sure that it will fit into your case as they are tall. Also, if you can I would get an extra fan for it and install it in a push pull configuration. Doing this however may cause memory contact with the fan and tall memory. I speak from experience on that. LOL. I have a CM N620 (now discontinued) in my current rig and it's been humming for a few years now. I have to run Intel's burn test to excite it otherwise it idles.

Something to think about is if you are not in a hurry to get it up and running, you can always monitor the sites and watch for deals. I saved a couple hundred easy doing this. The only things I have to get now are mother board, CPU and memory.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck.

Thanks. It does help. I believe the HAF has extra room for such coolers. Heck, both cooler master products lol. I think I still have an extra fan laying around. I believe even the motherboard has extra space on it for aftermarket coolers. I think I read that on the full breakdown article on it.

Scotty Mac I posted in your other Forum about the PSU and linked the EVGA 750 gold one its 119 US on the newegg US side.  You cant beat the 10 year warranty either.  I told my friends what I bought and they was like that is little high for 750 Watt PSU then I told them the 10 year warranty and they went out each and bought new ones one person bought the 1300 watt PSU from EVGA and they simply love it.

As for cooling I have the Kraken x60 atm Love it.  Probably wont fit in your case the h110 Might unsure not sure with your case. I have used the 212 Cooler aswell didn't fit in my old case was about 3mm to long.  Might double check your case size.  I did for the longest time have the Noctua NH-14 and it kept things nice and cool.  It is a heavy one I will say that and really easy to install.  If you have little more Cash I recommend getting the NZXT Phantom 630 Case can have up to 10 Case fans in it.  2 on bottom 1x140 and 1x120.  Top you can have 2x200mm fans side is 200mm aswell and front is 140s and rear is 140 aswell and then there is on inside the case if you wish to blow directly on your GPU that can move around.

I have this pic saved so you know where it is and case has fan control built into it none of the fans have to be connected to your MOBO they connect in the other side of the case nice and tucked away.

Forgot to mention the Case has airfilters aswell 2 on bottom 2 on top 1 on side.

Thanks for info! More than likely I will go with that evga psu. I'm pretty sure it'll fit in a cooler master haf 922. That's what I'm getting. It's a pretty big mid tower. Can't really afford that case you sent, for the haf 932. The 922 is on sale right now for $80! This build is going to cost me more than what I wanted to spend.. So I should be ok with that haf :) your case is nice tho.

I've been wondering the same thing. I have multi rail psu that has 6 +12v rails at 20a w/ 83 total. Not positive if it can handle card that needs 42a

I ended up with this evga PSU. It's a muli rail, and it handles my card just fine. The power doesn't have to be on 1 single rail for the card to get what it needs. After all my research, I like the multi rail PSU's better.

So far so good!  I can't hear it run, which is good. My case fans are louder than this PSU! Love everything about it so far. Not I just have to overclock the CPU and GPU :)
