A couple pictures that everyone has seen

But I couldn't hesitate to open it up and see what made this puppy glow. Well it was pretty obvious what was going to be inside but anyways here it is. 3 SMD LED either 0603 or 0805. Screws are torx t6

The cover

Of course I hate these white leds so after I get a GPU to test it on I will be replacing them with red leds to match the rest of my rig. I obviously wouldn't recommend doing this if you have no experience soldering as they are quite small. Anyways ill post more pictures once I get my LEDs. Should be here Friday or Saturday

So I got a first run of the lens:

Sending it to another member to get some better pictures since I no longer have my DSLR. I'm also working on a better way to cut them and if anyone is interested let me know.

$30 for a piece of plastic and three LED's... Well, we already knew that going in, but I guess I was hoping for some actual metal or something to justify the price tag... But I guess that's what you get when you go for luxury items.

Indeed, I thought it was going to be metal also but I had some EVGA Bucks I put toward it so it wasn't that bad. Part of it is aluminum but not much.

I plan on getting a 770. But for people with older cards,
Can you figure which leads need to be powered for a built in battery?

Cool, good luck changing out the white leds for red ones... I'd be too chicken to do that.

I use to own a xbox mod shop and did a lot of work with these leds so it should be easy. Wish they would have shipped today so I could of have had them by Saturday for sure.

You could, you could probably also just take a red sharpie and color over them. If you really wanted to you could just go to tap plastic or some place that cuts plastics and get them to make a small piece that will fit under the clear acrylic. Actually I'm going to try that before doing the leds just to see how well it would work. Tap offers free 4"x4" samples so I'm going to see how this works. That way you can switch out colors if you want.

My thoughts exactly, if I was going SLi I would save the $20 and just get a standard flexible bridge

    That sounds like a plan.
Also if that works OK you will not void the warranty on the bridge, but i do not see a hard bridge failing.

Nope, apparently neither tap nor unique leds could ship my order the same day. So probably wont have stuff until Tuesday. Don't even have a GPU yet to test on.

Definitely interested in what you used and thoughts you have.  It would seem as simple as getting some color plastic wrap or something and covering the EVGA logo

Putting colored plexi in front of LED's is certainly nothing revolutionary, but it does look cool :)

Definitely not anything special but it was easier than replacing the LEDs

Color plexi from tap plastics. They have free 4x4 samples and I just picked up one of all the colors I wanted. Like $5 shipped for 6 4x4 pieces which will make like 5 lens. Maybe 6 or 7

Umm well it takes a little work since they aren't just square. But I cut everything 42mmx32mm then took a grinder and ground a slot out for the plastic tabs.

I did it the easiest way I could think of.

    CAxVIPER,
    2 questions/clarifications:
    1.  How did you secure the plexi or did you just put it in loose?  Perhaps it will be snug in there.
    2.  Is this the site you got them from:

    Thanks
