it started July 12 last year, so it might be around the same this year. http://www.greenmangaming.com/ already started thier sale it looks like and I remember they had better prices then steam did last year

I spend between $50 - $75 each time the sale happens, and can ussually get between 5 - 10 games for that which is enough to stay busy until the next sale happens (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) Its better to spend just a little every 6 months instead of spending $300 at just one sale, you can get better prices on the games the longer you wait.

What do you guys want from the sale?
I went through my emails last night and finally added all of my Indie Gala/Humble Bundle games that have just sat in my email for awhile.
I just bought Sonic Allstar Racing Transformed over the weekend, but a few hours in last night and had a great time. Strong recommendation if you guys like Sega, or are just in a mood for a Kart Racer, it has a nice drift/boost mechanic in it. Not only does it have a TF2 Kart, it has a Shogun (total War) and Football Manager karts.
What I will buy is Fall of Cybertron, I've waited long enough. And I would like to play Swapper, Anti-Chamber, Monico, Binary Domain. I hear great things about Metro:Last Light and all of its comparisons to HL2 (which I love to hear).
But at last, I am broke, and look forward to buying Saints Row 4 next month. And if I can talk the wife into letting me buy Killer is Dead I will, but doesn't seem likely.
I secretly bought a Steam card from 7-11 so to have Steam Wallet money with out my wife knowing...
