FINALLY! thank you EVGA... In my next couple of checks I'll be buying the FTW, been waiting awhile for it to come out :)  btw... the 1000w P2 is ****ing amazing!

That is not the z87 ftw, it is titled wrong... so you "FAIL".

As Affgoo pointed out, it is labeled wrong. Do a close up of the board and you will see it is a socket 2011 with the memory on both sides of that socket.

Ideally the Z87 lineup should be fully released in the next few days. In fact, I'm somewhat glad it took this long to launch them, what with the price cuts to the 780s announced and coming soon. _cyberdyne_

Almost sorry to say i chose to go with Asus on the Mobo-side this time. I am sure the Z87 FTW and Classified are great boards but for this build i passed. Hopefully Evga sorts out their Mobo-business till the next time around for me. I did however order 780 Classifieds for 2-SLI with the new, decreased price and a Pro SLI-bridge and the backplates to put on my Maximus VI Extreme. There will for sure be some Evga-goodies on this build as well. Parts are beeing shipped now, looking forward to a weekend of putting the rig together :D.

Wondering if we have any better idea on the time windows for the Classified Board? I've got pretty much everything ordered except mobo/ram. I could wait about 1 more month, but beyond that, I don't think I can wait any longer. :(

Is this going to be another failure to deliver? I know you still have the rest of the day, and Friday but I mean come on guys this is getting beyond ridiculous. While this isn't your(EVGA's) fault, I have a mountain of parts waiting to be used just collecting dust and becoming more obsolete by the day that I paid good money to obtain. These purchases were made with the intention of placing them on a glorious EVGA Classified board but instead they've been sitting on my work bench since June/July weeping at every missed release date. Now I'm sure it won't take long for someone to come swooping into this thread calling me an idiot for waiting this long and to "vote with my wallet" and buy another brand. At this point, unfortunately, that is exactly what will probably end up happening. I just wanted to take the time and express how extremely disappointed I am with EVGA and how this Motherboard release has gone. :/

If you need any help, you can always send me a pm or post. This forum got me up and going about 5 years ago with my First core i7 build. Same here buddy. I know that things happen and projects get pushed back, but man, I gots parts to puts togethers.

Another week and still no Classified. EVGA is everything alright, are you feeling okay? Is there some major QC issue with the Classified boards? Is there a specific flaw with the board that is holding it back and if so, can we know what it is? This lack of communication is killing your brand image and it is a shame to say the least.

My guess is that EVGA has already lost money on the z87 Classified and because of this it is not a priority for release. Instead they can prioritize 780 Ti, which has a large potential to make money of course. So like I said this is just a guess and to continue my guessing (and EVGA can prove me wrong), but it will probably be another week or more.
