A hearty welcome to all EVGA members and staff for the wonderful year we have had to date 
Another year has come and gone and time for another Chimp Challenge is here 
  
The 2013 Chimp Challenge starts on April 13.  Join us for the fun as we attempt to reclaim the coveted "Jaded Monkey". 
  
As a side benefit, we hope to further narrow the gap back to our ultimate points target of recapturing the number 1 team title; last month we outperformed [H] by more than 70 million points!  Of course, we don't forget that the ultimate goal of finding cures benefits from a friendly, poo-slinging competition. 
  
Under this year's rules everyone folds for their team using their own names, so there is no need to switch over to EVGApes this time around. 
  
So, put on your best chimp suit and join in!

What is the CHIMP CHALLENGE? 
It's a friendly yearly contest we run between some of the top folding teams. It's done to spur awareness and growth for FOLDING@HOME, while at the same time garnering a friendly get-together between the teams. It helps build bridges/friendships between the teams. 


What is FOLDING@HOME? 
To make it easy for some to understand - it's using your excess (or full) computer time to find cures using the CPU and/or graphic cards \to find Cures\.

We have dropped using Chimp Names this year (so we don't have to switch client names) - just bring your machine to bear - as much as you can afford to do or are able to bring 

We ask that as many of our Current Folding and DC members please get out and participate this year in the Chimp Challenge and Help win back the Jaded Monkey this year.  
Lets bury any past grudges with past contests and Lets revamp /remake the contest to be better each and every year.

Glad to see that you included Krunch's CC 2013 image (maybe I'm a little prejudice, but I like his the best)!! 

All the back and forth discussions about points and handicaps aside....once I start seeing stuff like this I get excited. 

I don't know... I'm feeling... feeling the need... the need for WU's.

This will be a year of firsts for me! First Folding M@dness contest is about to wrap up, and soon I'll be participating for the first time in EVGApes! I love the atmosphere around this place during contest times, very positive, supportive, and competitive. Rock on you guys! 

Wey-hey! It's on. I was waiting for all the talk to stop and the poo flinging to start. Dave_the_Badger will be joining the EVGA team today. My main folding machine is averaging 45k ppd and will shortly adding to the 111065 points pile.

And if anyone wants to engage me in another 150 posts by 13 April I can afford to fit a second gtx670. How is that for a challenge proposal?
