Posted this review yesterday. Can't believe this is not being marketed to gamers better. It's expensive. But it hits 1440p with stellar color accuracy, deep blacks, adjustable response times and 10-bit color.

99Hz using Precision X 4.0 pixel clock utility. Gaming is amazing! But I couldn't hit that 100Hz land of milk and honey. Oh well. 99Hz from 60Hz is impressive.

I would back that off to 90 tbh. Isn't a 33% overclock a little high? That's going to put a ton of long term stress on that monitor.

Nice achievement though, I gotta try that on my monitor when I get home and see if I can get 75hz.

    -16GB RAM.
    -GTX 1070.
    -128GB SSD.

Ill never understand how people can game in 60hz. For >10 years I've been setting refresh rates on CRTs to anything greater than 80hz. The "norm" of 1920x1080 at 60hz really cracks me up since I've been doing 1920x1200 at 90hz since the early 2000s and 2304x1440 now at 80hz.

Monitors like this really give me hope because I know my CRT will eventually meet its demise. But as Balto mentioned, overclocking the monitor could put some serious stress on it. But it gives me great hope knowing that the screen industry is slowly going in that direction.

Yea I really wish they would move off of 60hz already. I personally wouldn't own a 60hz monitor but I can't afford 120hz as they are so expensive.

How's the input lag. My Dell U2711 has some input lag. In gaming mode it shuts off the 10bit processing and reduces the lag somewhat. Is the LG the same? I have yet to find any reviews on the LG. I would like to see some testing on input lag.

We need higher quality 120Hz monitors, the current TN's are utter garbage.

I've been trumpeting that. Total agreement.
But there's little motivation for companies to bust out a wide 120hz IPS selection because people are still buying 60hz TN.

I own 2 of these monitors and I can't overclock more than 62Hz ether using dvi or Display Port.

How did you achieve such results with 99Hz refresh rate?

I was using Precision X 4.2.1 pixel clock utility

I was able to get this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0JC-000B-00004

Up to 120hz, even worked at 125hz, the max that precision will go too, so it seems that the 1600p monitors can OC well too, or I got a golden silicon monitor.

I think 1000 bucks is too much for that monitor (MSRP)
