With the launch of the new 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark, in order to be qualified for the $1000 Mods Rigs sponsorship prize you will need either a 3DMark 11 or a 3DMark Fire Strike score for your rig. We will be eliminating Vantage, so those with Vantage scores only will no longer be eligible. These new requirements will go into effect when the countdown is reset to 200 (after the next winner is announced). This should allow enough time for you to make sure that you rigs are qualified for the sponsorship. It is free to get a 3DMark Fire Strike score . You can download the Basic Edition for free [Click Here]. If you have Steam installed, you can download it there as well. We've also updated the Mods Rigs site to accept Fire Strike scores + updated the front page to show them. Let me know if you have any issues in that regard.

I just went ahead and bought 3Dmark off of Steam. Wow, the Firestrike benchmark is intense. I got an average of 8FPS on the combined test with SLI 570's and an 2500K at 4.6GHz. I don't know if I want to upload a score this bad or not...

I just did 3DMark Fire Strike and updated my Mods Rigs page with my new score while also taking away my old out of date score from Vantage. But now my Rig is not eligible. I thought it would be eligible with a Fire Strike score.

It is only to bad that 3DMark Fire Strike lacks support for 3 Way and 4 Way SLI. I get higher scores on my 3 Way 660Ti SC with SLI OFF, and my 4 Way SLI on my 2 GTX 690 the scores are also higher with SLI OFF. I have been testing this now for 2 weeks. While EVGA Precision X setup to overcook in 3DMark 11 and Vantage work great NONE of the overcook setting used for 3DMark Fire Strike will work with 3DMark 11 and Vantage and not even with Ice Storm & Cloud Gate. I have to reduce the settings by at least half. All my Graphics Cards are EVGA. Now with 3DMark Fire Strike I am thinking of dumping the 690 with water blocks and going with 2 680 with water blocks, the only problem is there are none in stock anywhere. Bill

Are you guys gonna make 3dmark vantage and 3dmark06 clickable to verify peoples scores cause I sure see some "questionable" numbers at times.

Well, I don';t think the countdown is changing because of the current ASP.NET errors the site is throwing when trying to "save" your updates. Been broken since last week.
Or, clicking on any tab when editing your rig.

Two weeks have gone by, still errors on the ModsRigs.com. As mentioned above, it happens whenever you click Save, or try to click on any tab while editing your build.

Once your score is updated, shouldn't your rig come up on the home page if your score is high enough to be there?

What About people such as myself? I Own alot machines that only have GTX 2XX and GT 9XXX(like my Dual 280 Monster or my Dual 9800GX2 or my GTX295 Machines or my 9600GT machines) cards which only are DX10, this means I'm going to lose almost all my machines because I only have 2 that have DX11 support.

I can't seem to load my Firestrike score. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/915442 is my result I get the message : The link you input for 3DMark Fire Strike is not valid URL... whenever I try. Also, now have an Evga card installed. How do I become eligible for the evga sponsorship?
