Hello,

I recently bought all new equipment and installed windows 7 64 bit onto my computer. once the install was complete I put the EVGA driver disk in to install new graphics drivers as I hate the standard 400x600 screen the first time windows boots up.  Anyway I proceed to download the 107 important windows 7 updates. After that is complete I then download the most recent drivers for my GTX 690 and I get an error when trying to run the file called "non 7z Archive".  **** is that?  I have been trying to find reviews of people having the same issue.  Yes I re-downloaded this file 10 times that is no lie.  I tried Firefox to download and the IE, and then Chrome.  All with the same error.  I heard that there is a way to fix the issue and some people recommend reformatting windows.  If someone knows another way instead of reformatting that would be great!

I have a SSD 512GB I don't want the reformat to affect the drive.

you need the program to unzip it .WinRar or 7zip should do it .ITs a common tool used to make huge files smaller for download .

Incomplete implies the download stops short
Corrupt implies the data is incorrect.

both can raise this error as the header stores the file length and most archives also store a first copy of the CRC
