I got a 7660 and almost 6 hours for 1477 points is not worth the electric bill. The server doing the 807x series is gone and only wu's are TJ Lane. See you guys in Feb. when something better comes along. Finishing my last wu's now.

Looks like there maybe a unreported Project 7698 coming? Looked for it at the FF, but could find nothing on it, but is on the PsummaryB page with a kfactor of 3.0.

Yep just got added to psummaryc but is not listed if you read the thread on the New GPU WU there is a sister WU coming for it too PS: I assume the low-ball points might get fixed on 7660 there is a current uproar already

Strange is all the GPU WU's with a kfactor I have yet to get any of those newely released ones. Been a while since I got any of the old ones with the kfactor. If there not being ran any more why not remove them from the list? Edit: I am very interested to see what kind of PPD this new 7698 project will bring with the kfactor. Hopefully my next new WU will be one. I have the beta flag on this laptop only right now. Could this be a QRB WU release?

I been running one for some time today. I'm not sure when it started. on GTX 680@stock WU7660 TPF: 2min 17sec base credit: 1477 estimated credit: 1477, so it isn't QRB.. damn PPD: 9314 It is noticeably lagging the browser now too.. or something is. Actually it may just be this site..

I put the beta flag back on the 660ti that was folding the 807x wus. Now it's folding a 7660 wu with base points of 4431 and the same ppd as the 807x wus.

I can run the 7660's without the heat of 762x's and am on all 5 fermis. Just lost a little time but at least have something to work on. TJ Lane did get it fixed quite fast. Only thing left to fix is QRB. Looking forward to the 59xx series now.

Just so you know, not only do you loose PPD on the GPU with 7660 WU you also loose PPD with your SMP folding running this WU. This work unit makes core15 use 1 to 3% of the CPU cores 2% is what I see 99% of the time. Where as working 762x the core15 only uses 0 to 1% of the CPU cores. This as I see it is the reason why this 7660 runs just a little cooler plus the fact it doesn't load the GPU fully like a 762x does. I see 97/98% load with 7660 vs 99/100% load with 762x. So your taking a hit two ways on PPD with this unit 7660.

Just picked up a 6098 WU on the smp client, and holy geez! 21m 20s TPF, with a estimated completion time of over 1.5 days! I think this is the longest WU I've ever received in my entire time folding.

In my case running the 7660 WU 2x my 2 480's for a loss of 11k per GPU plus almost another 11k off the CPU folding. That's almost 33K PPD loss! Some adjustments need to me made here for sure. I'm head back to running the 762x Wu's. Enough of these beta units for me. I'll take the little extra heat and a lot more PPD over these.

Anyway I can stop getting this useless 7646 WU that take 2 freaking days on my i7 970 and are only worth a total of 14000 points, (base of 2250)? My 560Ti does that in 11 hours. Lately all my cpu has been getting is WU that take 1-2 days and are worth peanuts. It was cause of WU like this that I stopped cpu folding as the the return was just so not worth it.

I'm basically folding for free, Unfortunately, thanks to fracking, gas is much more cheaper than electricity. For me, my electricity bill went down because they're spending less on the natural gas used to make the electricity. Too bad all of the farmland in the midwest has to die because of the toxic chemicals that are pumped into the ground.

Ya mid 60's here and for the rest of the week they say. So warn in the shop today with only CPU folding I had to open the door, windows where already open with fans in them plus cut on the AC to push the heat out. I can only imagen how hot it would have been in there if all the GPU's had been running plus that was after 4pm.
