raw2dogmeat, I'm just cropping and resizing with paint then uploading them. Unfortunately there is some sort of EVGA server problems going on & they are disappear from the pages and my mods rig page, that does not help much. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

Here are some test scores to compare the Z68FTW with 2600K @4.8GHZ.& 5GHZ.
Scores for Z77FTW with the 2600K @4.8GHZ. & 5GHZ. Both using EVGA GTX460sc. GPU's The only hardware change was the MB.!!
    4.8GHZ.

    5GHZ.

This is the next comparison is the maximum stable clock for each CPU & still maintain safe temps on the EVGA-Z77FTW using 2 EVGA-670FTW+4GB. GPU's (2600k @ 4.98GHZ. vs. the 3770K @ maximum 4.8GHZ (unable to keep safely cooled @ 5GHZ).  Sandy runs cooler at higher clocks!!

    3Dmark11-Z77-...mhz-1.35v

Bottom line for me was I spent a lot of money to find the PCI-e 3 and Ivy produced very small gains if any in some cases But it was fun
My conclusion is the Z68FTW and a sandy 2600k or 2700K is going to be your best performance for the price!!
I'm happy with performance of both, however I expected more performance gains on the Ivy, but it is not the case, minor gains. With that said if you don't mind the extra money go with the latest and greatest.

Once again, props on that awesome cabling!

It's a shame Ivys run so hot.  Bad decision on Intels part to cheap out on the IHS TIM.

now, what screens are you running to justify 2 4GB 670's ?

I t is too bad they run hot, but on a side note the 3770K @4.8 is about equal in performance to the 2600K @5.0 for me anyway.
Also going to do some flight Sims on 2 Samsung 27" Leds  the 2=670's were more of a want than need, what can I say (I need need I mean Like more power!!!!)

    Any excuse will do!
If you have spare time/electricity, you should consider doing some Folding or Crunching on that rig.

Going to install the water blocks on the 670's and connect them to the water loop this weekend, but if I want to run 3 monitors in surround. It seems there is a problem with using slot 2 & 4 SLI on the Z77FTW ( can't use video connections on the card in slot 2? ).  Don't I need to use both cards to get 2d 3 monitor surround?

Nope, you can use 3 outputs on a single card.  use just need to make sure you have the correct connectors.

I did getting it running sots 2 &4  in dry mode 2=670FTW+4GB. 2-way SLI running 3 27" Samsung LED's in 2d surround. With that accomplished successfully I am ready to remove the GPU's and put the water blocks on!
    2 monitors on slot 2 & 1 on slot 4.

Well another delay! I installed the EK water blocks on the 670's and wouldn't you know the EVGA back Plates won't work More money to Frozencpu and several more days for delivery. It is hard being a noob to the GPU water cooling.
