Note : these are my 24/7 settings, however this CPU can clock significantly higher; I was able to push it up to near 4.2GHz on the following settings before it started BSOD on Prime95, and clearly it would go a lot higher with more voltage supplied, but I didn't intend to push it for benchmarking, I was just aiming for a stable 4GHz clock, and I got it.

True - every chip seems to have it's own 'sweet spot', and they can vary significantly even within the same model of CPU, although with CPU VCore voltage, keep in mind whether it is with VDroop or without :

without VDroop, generally you run the BIOS setting at about 0.15V less CPU VCore than you would with VDroop (refer Shamino's overclock guide for verification).

Is good to have a general o/c thread like this though, as it can give you a general idea of what to expect when attempting to overclock a new CPU - or at least a reasonable range.

I am currently working on re-OCing bc of a replaced RAM stick and I will post more later.

I hope all of you are taking these templates with a grain of salt, a screen shot of a 20 pass run of LinX (Minimum) would make them more viable IMHO.

It would be nice to see some kind of stress test applied....LOL.  TBH no stress test ran for any period of time can assure 100% stability, but close!
