I'm considering upgrading my 560ti to a Kepler card.  I was holding out for GK 110, but thanks to the new (though yet to be proven optimizations from Stanford, and the existing performance from GPUGrid ) I'm considering grabbing one now.
Not too mention the usual who knows when/if the GK110 chip will appear from nVidia.
The question I have is; is there any difference in Folding performance from the 660ti to the 670?

They are the same card apart from the Memory Bus.  192 bit for the 660ti, 256 bit for the 670.

slightly lower power consumption as well for the 660ti.
The 660ti comes in about 25% cheaper than the 670.

so ppd/watt which card is best?

    There is a difference:

    for 8043 / 8045 / 8054 WU's
    670 FTW @ 1232 MHz       17.7k PPD
    660Ti FTW @ 1228 MHz     16.5k PPD

Same machine, these cards are both on the 680 PCB with same power reg, so the 670 is likely better PPD/W.  Certainly the 660Ti is better PPD/$.

    670 @ $390 = 45 PPD/$
    660Ti @ $290 = 57 PPD/$

FWIW, for those who fold and game...
The 660Ti does >50 fps in BF3 at 1080p with all max, 4x AA
    The 670 does >60 fps

Thanks Marshmallow Man. Been in a quandary between these 2 cards trying to decide. Extra 70 bucks or not. Just a folder/cruncher card for me.

For folding-only I would go for 660Ti.  This FTW Signature 2 runs in the mid 50's folding, and high 40's crunching WCG.

Yeah, this is perfect, staypuft - thanks!  My 660ti FTW Sig2 (coming today!) will fold 24/7, connected to my secondary monitor (which I rarely use), so on the rare occasion when I get time to game (usually Skyrim), I can use my 670 while still contributing something.
