hey, can anybody provide a backup copy of original EVGA GTX 670 BIOS? my sticker says it's supposed to be 80.04.19.00.70 I don't like the updated GPU BIOS at all, want to go back to original, but I failed to make a backup of it

in short, the core clocks gets stuck at 914MHz @ 43C idle (should be 302Mhz @ 27C) but that could be a driver issue actually. sometimes doesn't boost at all in certain games (that could up to games and power demand the card has to provide, perhaps it doesn't have to boost), other times fine and eventually under heavy load (e.g. 3dmark11) it power throttles like crazy dipping over 100Mhz below the max boost clock ... what is there to like about it? http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1706872 http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1703145

got the original EVGA reference 670 -2670 BIOS. if anybody is looking, get it from here (courtesy of a fellow OCN member): http://www.2shared.com/fi...gn=website or try this link (same site, different address): http://dc581.2shared.com/...120814-040740-d0187782 flashed it back already with nvflash 5.118 and again seeing less power throttle (less of dropping core clock under heavy load), like it used to be.

^glad it worked! updated post above with the other link too. it's a legit source. I am running this BIOS as of now, gives me much less core oscillation under heavy load (e.g. 3dm11) as opposed to the latest official BIOS update.
