Makes me wonder when it'll be released, I heard some rumors of April, so it may be awhile it seems I wish we could get a estimate of when the release is, IE, Days away, Weeks away, or months away? though chances are the release date has not be decided no doubt.

We need to know well in advance so the winner can get their acceptance speach ready.
I am wondering about the expected number of sales for this board. It looks awesome, but also like something the average power user will not leap onto.

That's a bit confusing. Does it mean there was a winner selected and he/she is under a NDA or are they going to actually pick with winner when the board is released? EDIT: It takes time to print Flyers, Brochures, and make the box art along with printing the boxes. If Jacob could give any more details that would be nice.

I just hope they don't pull a slimey one and announce the winner but don't actually tell the individual, and instead give them a week to respond to the announcement or they miss out.. kinda rough when nobody knows exactly when it will be announced (this is how the MODSRIGS prizes are done, which is why I mention it).

At the very least, such a board may not show prior to Gulftown, so easily after Mar 16th of this year. Not that there aren't any CPUs to use, there are the Gainestowns, but you know.
