well, I made this Thread last year, but it seems like it needs to be updated.. atleast I have had some trouble posting youtube-videos on this forum lately.

But I have found a "new" method.. I would like to hear, if you guys have any trouble while using it.. if not, I will update the old thread.. Thanks in advance. :D

sk2play posted this. (Posted with permission from sk2play) The video wasn't embed correctly, it is now though.. This reminded me of the hazzle I have posting videos.. Now this guide follows, as a result from this issue.

  1. Find video, and hit "share"

  2. You should see something like this:
  3.  Flag "Long Link" and mark the entire link:
  4. Right click on the marked link, and hit "Copy":
  5. Go to the thread, and hit "Open full version". Hit "{PGDCODE}":
  6.  Hit "Insert Tag":
  7.  Looks like this:
  8.  Paste the Long youtube-Link as plain text, Right click and hit "Paste as plain text":
  9.  Looks like this:
  10. Hit "Post Message" and voila! :D

Yes, it makes the EVGA FORUM experience so much better.  Also if you want to add a still picture to your post, hit the green tree icon to insert the picture.  Example below:

I performed a google search of "Boo Pictures"

    By tinksmeoff at 2012-07-07

I chose a picture and after clicking on it, got a window picture, so I right click over that picture and C&P the image location and paste that to the brower URL slot and hit enter

    By tinksmeoff at 2012-07-07

I then get the RAW PICTURE but do not copy the URL line, rather right click over the picture again and copy the image location.  Paste it with the green insert image icon line and it will display on the screen.

EVGA Forum is Family Friendly so make sure it passes the test of moderators.  Use common sense obviously.

That section of my guide is a little shabby. I will make it better, once I re-do the guide. Hopefully in the near future ;)

BTW, if the images are to small to read or view.  Right click over the image and left click "view image" assuming you're using FireFox (in Chrome "view image in new tab).  Then hit CRTL + to bloat up the image and CTRL - to make it smaller.

Also note, if you C&P from another browser (say Chrome to FireFox) to insert the youtube video, it will not work many of times.  You need to be in the same browser you are logged into with EVGA Forum and C&P accordingly using the same Browser (new tabs, etc).

really I just find it easier to use the link in the address bar then type the tags myself.
nj with the detailed tut though :)

The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd.
