Mostly retail stores (Octagon Electronics and Arc Computers) due to generally cheaper prices and availability of some items, as there aren't many e-tailers that sell PC components, especially EVGA products in Australia, though same could be said for retail stores as well. Despite that, PCCG is expanding in products, so I may start using that site more in the future.

When I lived in Australia I bought from umart aswell. There prices were usually the best around the Goldcoast/Brisbane area. My Dad still buys his parts from umart, aswell as all his clients parts(he's computer tech and been in the business awhile). http://www.umart.com.au/ They don't deliver, but you make an online order and they email you when its ready to go pick it up and pay for it. Places like Harvey Norman are too over priced, so it was never worth it to go there.

While I voted for etailer, I buy from alot of different outlets. I usually buy from Etailer/retail stores. Places like CPL/ pccasegear that have a etail and retail presense. MSY as well which is a retailer. I will also buy from the US as well, FrozenCPU and Newegg (when I am actually in the states as they don't ship to Aus). I would buy from TigerDirect, but their shipping costs are absurd.

PC Case Gear is my first choice for Video cards. Biggest issue is stupid high prices, we are over charged for graphics cards, 1500+ dollar 690s for example

another vote for www.umart.com.au have used pccasegear.com.au Australia is weird. CPUs are the same price here as in the US, as are basic components like RAM, DVD drives and HDDs. Motherboards, PSUs and especially Graphics Cards all are about 50-100% MORE than the same item in the US.

Bought my EVGA 790i Ultra from PC Case Gear, it was the first motherboard i had a preorder in for, and i still love that board even despite all the bios issues and everything else it had, it was still going strong last time i saw it after having gifted it to a mate after his system died after the flooding here, then upgrading to a Classified3. Thus began my love of EVGA, since then i have bought a 9800gt, a 480 and a 580 3gb from UMart, and a Classified3 from PCCG. LOVE EVGA products, just wish the markup on the 'high end' stuff wasnt so damn unrealistic. I.E 04G-P4-2690-KR Evga Geforce GTX690 on http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=04G-P4-2690-KR&family=GeForce%20600%20Series%20Family&sw= = $999 In Aus (From Scorptec.com) http://www.scorptec.com.au/computer/35/461/542 = $1699 At time of post 1 Australian dollar = 1.0258 U.S. dollars Due to import taxes i think the prices are higher, but its pretty ridiculous at times. Also Wish we got the awesome deals, like EVGA's current one, the 'power bundle' for the SR-2 and the 690, If i could source it locally i would have upgraded easily. Keep up the Good work EVGA! love your products!

Buy everything from etail stores like PCcase gear, BUT for somereason they like to rip you off in GFX cards. so i went to UK and got them i also couldn't be aresed waiting for EVGA to make 680HC so i went with ASUS. EVGA just are too slow to react.

Mostly local shops for convenience (Austin computers and PLE (im in WA)) But many times they dont stock things or are much more expensive than PCCG, like their range of corsair dominator ram is pretty bad. For the new gen of GPUS, im getting them from frozenCPU and shipping them here, as i can buy the 670FTW and a waterblock for it for the same as a 670FTW costs here

I shop at pccasegear first and foremost, for their range, generally good prices and speed of delivery + other australian e-tailers have really bad UI's on their websites. Ultimately though the dream would be to buy direct from an EVGA australian store.

I shop at pccasegear too, sometimes CPL, which is part retailer but more of an e-tailer place (except you ring, they don't really have a proper website). But I find it's cheaper that if a friend/family member is in the US to buy the stuff over there from Newegg or similar, which is where my current rig is from. (PS: Australian EVGA server's would be cool, then we could enter into the Gaming tournaments without 200+ ping )

Hi I usually go to my local (Sydney) suppliers first but quite often they'll only offer what they have too much stock of... "ordering in" seems to scare most of them for some reason, especially EVGA or boxed Intel. So, it leaves going to Melbourne... PCCG is usually the first call.
Should anyone care what a teabag thinks? ?
