Can we join this project? It's new Boinc project (since May) that can use GPU. I'd test nvidea cards for us.

    I don't see why not. Easy enough to do. Isn't there a "captains" login and password that we use to create teams? I seem to remember someone here posting it like a week ago on one of our threads. (Punchy?)

    ha ha.. that's why I put the question mark (it notes my confusion)..I saw something.. somewhere. I dunno.

    There may be no work available.

    Might just take a day or so to grind through their system.  Not sure, but I seem to recall that some projects took longer to get the team up and running than others.

    I created an account for myself this AM, then the "join this team" link appeared after I did a search for 'evga" under community. Try it again and see if you can add yourself.
    I did note that even though I'm a member of the team according to my own preferences page, I don't show up on the list of members yet, probably because I have not crunched a wu for them yet.

    It takes awhile sometimes for the link to show up.  There is always a way around it, though.  Find the link for the team joining process and switch the team ID numbers in the link....

    I was able to join the team this morning about the time mfl did. I don't think there is any work, gpu or cpu. I just can't pick any up.

    Still no work?  Only wondering because it doesn't show on our stats page at Free-DC.  And it won't until work is turned in and points awarded.

    I just joined... Added to the team... Looked in BOINC to add it... Unable to find as of yet 


    that is how you add any project in Boinc, the list the manager has built in with descriptions and everything changes with the version and is more of a convienience.

    Thank you RH. For whatever reason, I do not see riojascience in the BOINC manager (Scrolled all the way through as the newer ones usually do not go in order). I will add it manually...

    There are quite a few the Boinc Manager doesn't have on the list.  I'm not sure how or why but would assume certain criteria has to be met before a project gets a spot on the list, but considering the last time I really looked at the list for the current manager, some projects on it are closed or haven't had work available for awhile so I don't know.
     
    It seems I'm "not knowing" alot of stuff lately.  Thinking I'm getting too old to "know" things anymore, figured that wouldn't start coming on for a few more years.  29 is too young to be old.

    Has anyone found a forum for this project? I have had no successful communication with their servers since Sunday I believe...
     
    I have about 10 complete, and it will not give me any more work to do =[

    Also, it seems like everything on their site works except the Server Status page....  Did you check out their Twitter?  http://www.riojascience.com/index.html  I would, but I refuse to use Twitter....
