I did a search on this subject but did not come away with a clear resolution.
If I sell my GTX 680 "vanilla" (purchased on 5/4/12) can the buyer register it on his account for the standard 3 yr? If yes, then if he enters the serial number will it give him the "this product is already registered" response since I already have it entered? Do I unregister before or after he attempts to? Just want to be clear on this.
Thank you

The buyer would not need to register anything.

The buyer may register it online with us whenever they would like, however they don't have to.  They will not get any message like that if it is already registered and you will not need to un-register it unless you don't want to see it on your account anymore.  If they need to RMA the product for any reason they will use the Guest RMA

Thanks. And this being a StepUp card doesn't make a difference?

With a guest RMA will you be asked to upload an invoice? I would assume not, right?

No, it just goes off of the serial number.  The warranty is on the card, not the owner.

    Thanks!

I apologize if this has been answered before but does this apply to the newer motherboards as well? And if so, one that was an rma replacement?

Question sir, I am new to the nvidia world of graphics, but it has been my dream to work hard to own a titan. so, i am going to buy a used one.

    06G-P4-2793-KR

Thats the number, now I am wondering will I get warranty if I get that used version of that card? PLUS, i bought a lot of motherboards from you guys. In those cases I was allowed to upgrade my warranty to 5 or 10 years, is there a option in which i could do that for this used titan, I will be willing to pay for it obviously

Extended warranty (and step up)is only for original purchaser .If the card is bought "used" or from a non authorized seller it carries the remainder of the warranty from the date of manufacturer, not date of original sale or your buying it .
You would be able to see the remainder of warranty when the card is not registered and re-registered by the 2ed owner.
