so i quit my call center job. in short it was draining my life, i have another job lined up to start soon but it will pay less and i just bought the SR-X. ive been working on this computer for a long time (check my sig) and i need it up and running so i can sell the one im currently using to pay for the motherboard.
im not asking for something fancy, im just asking to see if anyone has a spare 2011 socket CPU, xeon or i7, that i can use to get this build up and running. either as a gift or a loan. i could pay for shipping to nevada.
if someone does have one to spare, itd be a godsend, if not then thank you for reading this post anyway.

Call center jobs are horrible, good 4 u 2 quit that one!  Hopefully you'll get that other job really soon, and hopefully somehow you'll be blessed with a new, operational PC.  Good luck!

Just as any other form of art, modding is a passion, not just a hobby.  We fawn over it, we love it, we hold it near and dear to our hearts, we are passionate about it.  We are modders, and we are artists.
Also, if you like any of the advice I give, please recommend I get a BR, thanks!

I certainly do understand - the part about quitting your job - I was a teacher - and craving a Xenon processor - six cores definitely rocks.  I am starting my own business once that gets going I am off - but until then my own system circa 2009 will have to do.  Hopefully you can get your hands on one, if you do tell me - I'm looking for one too.  Anyhow hope all goes well with the interview and take care.
