Quiet Boot ?

What does that do. Disabled / Enabled, my board stills beeps like its on the more censored show on television.
Can't i disable the pc speaker onboard with this function ?

I'm pretty sure there is an option in BIOS to turn off all the beeps.

I never had a mobo where that was possible.  Just cut the wire or punch out the speaker membrane.

I just looked at the X79 BIOS on my system and it's not there. It must have been in a P67 or Z68 BIOS release then, I remember reading it in one of the release notes somewhere.....LOL

No, I'm talking about an option to stop the post beeps, quiet boot does not do that.
