Just got my brandnew GTX 680 delivered. I ordered on 22th March at 10 pm and it took just 38 hours to ship. Amazing.
Did not really expected to get it today as the retailer alternate.de told me they do not deliver on Saturdays which was an incorrect information. Hermes delivery service does work on Saturdays, great! And I've already registered and the invoice is uploaded.

And I got mail:
High Flow Bracket Request
Dear Max,
Thank you for registering your EVGA GTX 680 and requesting your free High Flow Bracket! You will receive an email soon with details on when it will ship.
So if I understand this right I'm one of the 200 early adopters, or is this just an automatic reply?
Will post pics and benchies when I installed it later, hopefully without issues - fingers crossed.

@EVGA MODS
Besides, I forgot to tell You:
The box looks really used and not very clean if You put off the plastik cover.
And there is a cut in the bag and the bracket is coming out! I hope this doesn't mean moist or whatever is inside and the video card could be damaged!
Watch the picture further down. It's pic #21 or so.

Update 3/30/2012
Just installed my fresh backplate. Temps are about 2-3°C lower than before, which somehow I can't believe as this backplate is only about 83 gr light. Will have a look on this. I'm really delighted as it upvalues the card visually and is a cover against dust, so one is not urgend to keep the dust away for warranty maintenance.

Glad the plugs are on the side, given that I have a mid-tower in the Antec 900.  I'm pretty sure it's not that much bigger than the HD 5850 it's going to be replacing.

Looks like your core is 1MHz and boost is 4MHz higher than my card! Hopefully you have the OCing beast that some people are posting!

PCIe 3.0 supported with the drivers on EVGA's disc.  I'm sticking with those until the validation crisis is over.

Hmm, I have to admit shamefully that I did no trial to occ til now. Are You familiar with X79 and could tell me an easy way via profil or EPU or whatever?

I'm not unfortunately and just so you know you should run Heaven with Tess set to extreme for proper scores.

With Precision X you should EASILY be able to push +125 MHz on the GPU clock and a minimum of +400 MHz on the Memory Clock just make sure you switch your Total Power to +132

I still have to wonder, why did Nvidia do the PCI-E plugs stacked instead of side by side? and why is one of them recessed?

I read it had to do with the PCB layout, the ports location, and lining up the exhaust fan with the bracket's grille. Makes sense.

What really confuses me is how the PEG connectors are reversed from each other so the clips face the inside...

The pci plugs are moved to make room for the fan. The fan was moved up to make room for the vreg, so it could cool them easier. The bottom pci plug is flipped, so they had to be setup the way they are to fit... So I've read. Getting two of my own this week. I'll get to see then.

"The rearmost portion of NVIDIA’s GTX 680 holds the fan while the components for the 4-phase digital PWM are pushed off to one side. This is a unique design that works in tandem with the stacked power connectors to decrease the card’s overall length and offers more direct airflow over the hot running power distribution network."

I noticed you were running 32 bit windows?  Also, it looks like you left your plastic on your card?  If so, any other reason other then to generate a static charge? Congratulations on the purchase though!

Look at his Heaven screen caps... they say 64-bit.

And his plastic looks like it's off in the mounted images. Though the EVGA sticker on the edge of the card might still have it on in this shot, can't tell:

    Thank You for Your appreciation.

Look at my signature it's Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

And I've updated pics. Look at the last new pic which proves there's no plastic cover left. Was unsure myself when I read your post.

I just noticed something. In all of your benchmarks, you're not using the 301.10 NVIDIA driver package. You're using a slightly older one.

Yes that's true, I must confess, that I dare not to possibly mess up my system, as except a rare RSoD everything is fine and PCIe 3.0 is enabled in the 300.83 driver which is on the Driver-CD.
Future driver update will enable PCIe 3.0 as soon as Nvidia it ready with certifying or whatever they do in their top-secret labs.

Got my new girl last night, comin from 2 gtx 570's to one 680 i gotta say iam very pleased so far!
So far i have about 2 hrs into BF3 hour or so with BFBC2 and a little bit of Assanins Creed Rev ,everything buttery smooth .
I have to do some experimenting with a couple of the new settings so far just been letting her run wide open, seems to run little warmer than the 570. Also need to adjust fan curve a bit more. I would definitely say we have a winner here !

    outlawii

Got my new girl last night, comin from 2 gtx 570's to one 680 i gotta say iam very pleased so far!
So far i have about 2 hrs into BF3 hour or so with BFBC2 and a little bit of Assanins Creed Rev ,everything buttery smooth .
I have to do some experimenting with a couple of the new settings so far just been letting her run wide open, seems to run little warmer than the 570. Also need to adjust fan curve a bit more. I would definitely say we have a winner here !

Welcome to the club! Yes this card looks great and has less heat, needs less wattage, is quiet and extremely fast.
As You know I did upgrade from GTX570SLI as well.
We'll be happy to find Your benches as soon as possible!
