This Bios Template is for both the X-58 3X SLi and the X-58 Classified motherboards.
This is to be used in troubleshooting and is not a guide to overclocking. Items that are for the X-58 3x only have a single * before tie line. Items that are for the X-58 Classified only have two ** before the line. When using this template please fill out all the RED areas.

    I dicided to post a 920 DO template at 3.6 /3.8 turbo on ( this works with both CO and DO CPUs )

    I would suggest you post a new thread here in the X-58 forum, along with a complete bios template - you'll fiind you'll get more and faster help there than in this sticky thread.
    Also you might start by looking at Chronic's " Simple I7 Overclocking" thread, it has a lot of good info in there to help folks get started.

    Ok, this is strange, I have a 975EE, and I leave blk to 133, but using 30x for 4ghz, and cant turn off turbo mode under cpu features. its greyed out.,
    but when I go to 166blk an dower cpu to 2x its disabled.

    I see pdf documents are not allowed to be uploaded here.  I've created a PDF Form of the X58 template that I use on a laptop as I try different combinations on my desktop.  (a link was put here twice and the board omitted it) if anyone else thinks it may be of use to them.  Just my way of saying thank you to everyone who has contributed knowledge to the board.  This is my first foray into the world of CPU overclocking, and I'm finding this board to be very helpful.  I don't want to change a bunch of values without knowing what they represent, and this board has helped me understand what I'm doing.
