I searched to find a function similar to oneunit flag for the BOINC client but couldn't. My problem is I want to re-install on my new SSD but I don't know how to make the client finish the work before that. With Folding it's so easy, you just put it in oneunit mode or even just stop the tracker, copy the whole dir and after that run it from there. So if there is such function could you point me to it?
Also, if there isn't how should I backup my work before re-installing, I found some guides but they seemed quite complicated. If you know a simple way to do that I would find that useful, too.

Yes, in BOINC go to the Projects tab. For each project, select No new tasks. This will prevent new work from coming in. Then go to the Tasks tab and wait for all work to be completed. When that is done, go back to the Projects table and select Update for each project. This will make sure all tasks are uploaded. Then you can setup BOINC as a fresh install after the re-install and re-attach to the projects. Alternatively, you can migrate the data. Take a look at this thread:

I haven't done any backing up/restoring of the WCG data (haven't done that yet).  But, I can tell you how to logically set things so that you finish what you have and don't receive more work.

In the BOINC Manager, under the "Projects" tab, select your Project, click on the "No new tasks" button and then click on the "Update" button.

If you also want to stop receiving queued units that show as ready to run, then go to "Advanced", "Preferences", "Network Usage" tab and set the "Additional work buffer" to 0.00 days.

That will bring things to a close so that you can finish your exisiting work and then be ready to shut things down.

You really don't want to be installed BOINC/folding on a SSD drive.  That's a lot of read/writes that will shorten it's lifespan.  You're better off putting those apps on a secondary spinner drive.

Good to know I made the right decision with this.  I had asked around earlier about folding and crunching on my SSD's.  I simply install them on my spinners sice I heard the same things:)

Thanks for confirming!

I never thought of installing BOINC/Tracker on the SSD at the first time, only the OS is there for now. Data folder of BOINC was moved to a dedicated folder on one of the HDDs, I just pointed that it's there when installing the client and it is working fine.
