    EVGA_NickM

The X58 boards will support Westmeres on the following revisions:

    E757 - rev 1.1
    E758 - rev 1.2
    E760 - rev 1.1
    E762 - rev 1.1

You will have to do a slight mod to your board for the processor to work, here is the link. http://www.kingpincooling.com/forum/showthread.php?t=599

Hope you get it working because the w3680 is a wonderful hexacore chip in my opinion, I'm lucky my board did not require a hard-mod for it to work.

And by the way, that build looks AWESOME

I will either find a way, or make one.

As EVGA_NickM said, rev. 1.0 board will not work.

What does it say onscreen at 7F?
That may be what happens when there is no keyboard connected. It would say so.
Try a different keyboard. Try the keyboard in one of the rear IO shield receptacles.

I would RMA the board and buy a different brand X58 board back, or go for X79 right away instead. :)

LOL that actually would have made sense if he couldn't boot with the old card as well, but like he stated CLEARLY he can boot with an old card, but not with his new cards. So I really, really doubt switching the keyboard to another port will help. Just my 2 cents. ;)

HFS MvdL79, that was almost two months ago. And he hasn't posted since either, prob is no longer watching.
