I just tried to purchase another X58 (E758) mobo, B-stock, from EVGA. I am quite annoyed now. It said: "We're sorry but we were unable to complete your order at this time. --- Your credit card has not been charged. --- The reason returned was: This credit card was declined by the merchant bank. Please contact your bank to verify that the information submitted is correct. If you feel that you may have made an error in entering your Billing Information, please use the link below to re-enter your Billing Information. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact our Sales Department at 714-528-4500 or by email at Sales@EVGA.com Thank you, EVGA" I was trying to use my EVGA bucks for a discount. So I thought maybe it needed P.O. instead of PO (box xx), but no, that didn't help. So I tried my street address, and that didn't help, got a different error. By that time I had tried 4 times, so I figured the transaction may be locked out, so I called my banking institution. After entering my numbers 4 times, plus a few where the system missed some of the first 3 digits, finally I got hold of someone who looked and said no it's fine, and what's more there were two charges on my debit card for $1.xx each from EVGA! My account balance was thousands of $ over what I was trying to charge. And the purchase was nowhere near any possible Debit card limit. WTH? I even called EVGA after the first three tries, and they said it was that the address did not match, and it did, exactly. They said to call my bank and see what the prob might be. Well, how then did they successfully charge me $1.27, FOUR TIMES? (just looked.) They need to fix their prob. GL to anyone who needs to purchase from EVGA. EDIT: This isn't worth the trouble. I think I will just buy a different mobo from a different vendor. I have better things to do with my time.

Hi HalloweenWeed, Once again I do apologize for any confusion as we are trying to verify your credit card with a authorization for $1.27 and every time you are placing it the bank that you are using is saying that your billing address is not correct. If we receive this error then we cancel the transaction and then you receive a error. The credit card company is not declining the transaction, but they are declining the address as being correct. I can recommend that since you stated you did not move recently to check with the bank to see what billing address they have on file as your primary billing address and use this to place your order. The $1.27 holds will not stay as we never took the funds and as soon as your bank releases them they will disappear. Please let me know if you should have any additional questions or if the bank is unable to help you further with verifying your correct billing address. chrisb@evga.com

Yeah, well I called EVGA sales again, and he said basically the same thing. This was after I tried one more time, using ALL CAPS for the address line, unsuccessfully. As I said, it's not worth it to me. I would rather pay $100 more buying from a site that works than spend hours trying to get the EVGA site to work. I make maybe a hundred purchases per year like this using my company debit card (same), and I NEVER have this problem from any other sites. Now it's NOT MY PROBLEM, it's EVGA's.

Hi HalloweenWeed, I am very sorry that you feel this way as we are simply trying to protect you as a customer by verifying the address on your credit card. I am showing that we have had multiple purchases made today using the same system and if you would like to confirm your billing address with your bank this can help. If you can confirm that the bank did verify this billing address as being the primary address we can move forward from there. Simply email me what you are trying to purchase and the shipping method and I will see what I can do to help. chrisb@evga.com

I have had this happen before... Sometime I use "Apt. XXXX" But the bank will reject "Apt. XXXX" because I didnt use a "dot" when I signed up at the bank.... I have to use "Apt XXXX" Its this kind of stuff thats messing you up, call the bank and get them to read it out "as shown" with Caps, lowercase and any spaces... write it down, should go thru then

Not sure if it's a glitch in there system, but stick with EVGA they will sort it out for you very fast and they have the best support team by far. Good luck.

Look, your getting mad over a simple clerical error, chill out. it's not THAT big of a deal. They are trying to let you know what to do but you continue to get angry. *hands you a chill pill* take two of these and try again in the morning. And it's not EVGA's problem either lol, it's still yours whether you go elsewhere or purchase here, cuz if it's giving you hassles on the banks end, it's going to do that no matter where you go :P
