I think that is pretty much standard, the software just reports what it senses, my Classy 3 does the exact same type of thing.

Did you open up CPUz before or after the change? You may have to open CPUz after the change for it to recognize that it did change, not sure. I know that it is like that when I change my Vid card voltages..

But in that post, he is changing settings via BIOS, not Eleet. Software will almost always give readings that differ from what is set in the BIOS, close, but not quite what they should be. If you are using both monitoring programs at at the same time, they may be throwing off each other's readings a little as well.

Mine does the same thing, I have my cpu set at 4.316 in the BIOS, but Eleet reads it as 4.305. My bus speed is set at 166 but reading 165.6, a little variation is nothing to worry about. It's what is set in the BIOS that really matters IMO. I always o/c with the BIOS, just my personal preference.

do you have clockgen enabled so it double boots if not the bus speed seems to bounce around on my board.

Yes, at those bclks you need to follow e-money suggestion. ClockGen is supposed to trunoff automatically at those speeds, but what the heck; turn if off manually and don't rely on automatic.

Clock gen is off, I hate the dual post. I do overclock from the bios, I just tried eleet too. I under stand that a little variance is ok but what is the tolerance? I set it to 200 and I am at 197, it has even gone down to 195. My asus and gigabyte boards are always spot on.

Turn clock gen on for 200 BCLK. The dual boot is a little annoying, I know, but that's what you need to run 200+ and have it report as such in Windows. I know that it says to turn it on if you're running over 200, but from my experience, having it on in the 190 range is what allows the BCLK to be what you've set it to in BIOS.

Sorry, I got it backwards. Should have reread my own notes. They clearly say ON for anything near or over 200, Off to avoid double boot! Sleepee saves the day, again!

I guess I should have been clearer in post seven when I said if clockgen is disabled your bus speed will jump around, O well happy you figured it out.
