Does this look right, I think I'm running Tri SLI on two 295's.

No that just tells you what GPU PhysX is selected on. Your PhysX setting is set to auto-select, if you are able to dedicate one of the GPUs to PhysX and then enable SLI on the remaining GPUs and keep the GPU you selected dedicated to PhysX, then you would be running in 3 way SLI. But I imagine that the option to dedicate any GPU to PhysX will be greyed out while SLI is enabled. Try opening up GPU-Z and it'll tell you how many cards are in the SLI array. It'll say "Enabled" followed by the number of GPUs in the array.

GPU-Z shows 3, but every time I try to get a screen shot, the tab closes.

Do you have the option to dedicate any of the GPUs to PhysX?

I can select 295)1 to physix, but there is no 295)2 on the first card.

As an example I don't have the option to "dedicate" any of the GTX480's to PhysX while SLI is enabled, but I can "select" one for PhysX. This way SLI is not altered and the GTX480 I select can be used for PhysX. As you can see when I select one of the GTX480's the option to dedicate it is greyed out and I cannot select that option: It's only when I select a card that is not part of the SLI array that it can be "dedicated": And this is what GPU-Z tells me:
Core i7 3770K // R9 Fury + Eyefinity // EVGA Z77 FTW // 8GB (2x4GB) G.Skill 1600Mhz DDR3 // Ultra X3 1000w PSU

Just realized that may have not been to clear, so I disabled Surround to show you this: as you can see when one of the GTX480's is set to "dedicate to PhysX" it is not part of the SLI array as you can see by GPU-Z and the NVCP saying it's 2 way SLI. The point is that unless you manually set it to "dedicated" for PhysX it will still be part of the SLI array. What it looks like to me that you're seeing is one of the GPUs set to PhysX like this: Notice that simply setting a GPU to PhysX does not remove it from the SLI array. This is what it looks like to me in your screen shot.

Update I removed and reinstaled the first 295, I now get a Blue screem Nvidia sys error any time I try to boot with that card in, It boots fine when I remove that one and just boot with the 2nd one as the only one. Think I am going to have to call EVGA and either start an RMA, or get a tech assist. I also don't know why it shows both HDMI ports, but only shows the two DVI ports on the second card, and not any for the first. If I put the DVI cable in the first card before the bluescreens started it would boot, but the display would never actavate. If I moved the DVI cable to the second card it would boot and display.

That is what tech support just told me, they also issued a controll # and said I should have an RMA # via e-mail in two days. Almost hope they don't have a 295, think I would like to play with a 480, but I will see,

They always have refurbished one in stores, but if you really wanna play a bit, try the new 500 series ( I would suggest taking the high end ones)

Sounds like you're getting things worked out though support. But I was also going to ask if you checked your computer properties through control panel - does it only show 3 295s there? Also, do you have the dual-PCB models? If so, check and make sure the ribbon cable is connected properly at both ends on the card.

+1 on the on card ribbon cables. Also, if run only one at a time, do both cards show as 2 GPU's in device manager and/or precision? In addition, any time that I make GPU card changes, I always uninstall Precision (prior to the HW change) as some wild random problems crop up with the HW change/addition/removal if I don't. I would worry 1st about why there are only 3 GPU's where there should be 4 showing. I have run dual GTX295 cards before but never in SLI bridged. Can you remove the SLI and see 4 GPU's in NV control panel? Sean.
