Hello! I'm going to buy the video card evga gtx 560 ti DS - PART NUMBER: 01G-P3-1567-KR, and want to have some details! On the site of the region evga EU - U.S., i read that for products purchased in Europe after the 01.01.2011 with the suffix -KR , standard warranty is limited to 3 years! http://eu.evga.com/support/warranty/ This period of three years there is only if you registered the product, or worth also even if you have not registered? In the link above there is written that the registration is only reccommended not obligatory.... Thank all for the replyes

You automatically receive the 3 year warranty, you don't need to register. That being said you should register now and upload the invoice so if you need to RMA you'll not have to look for the invoice (which you might lose) [source the link you provided]. If you want to get a 5 or 10 year warranty or Step-Up program , which you would have to pay for, then you can but only if you register the card within 30 days. Plus right now you get a free upgrade to 10 year warrant, if you purchase the product before the end of June and register before July 30th . I'm not sure if you live in the US or EU but both regions get this deal. Good luck. More info on the 10 year warranty program below: "During the months of May and June this year, any qualifying* product that ends in KR will get an automatic 10 year warranty. "- Link

Ok! I have read for the extended warranty of 10 years at the link: http://eu.evga.com/articles/00628/ But this extended warranty also applies if the product is purchased in all store or seller or just in some of them? Thanks

As far as I know it doesn't matter where you buy the product so long as you register it within 30 days :D

ARCTIC_EAGLE As far as I know it doesn't matter where you buy the product so long as you register it within 30 days :D This is not entirely correct. Must be purchased from retail (Not Ebay for example)... And I quote... ( Link) Products purchased ON or AFTER November 1, 2006 MUST be registered within 30 days of the ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE to receive EVGA's Free Extended Warranty. All products not registered within 30 days will ONLY receive a 2 year limited warranty. Refer to the following suffix guide to identify the length of your warranty: Please feel free to call us first for any needed support at +49.89.189.049 11 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 and 18:00. We stand behind the products we sell for their value, quality, and reliability.

Yes sir, but in the previous paragraph is clearly written that: All -KR products purchased ON or AFTER January 1st, 2011 include a 3 year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Registration is recommended. Optional Extended Warranty and Step-Up™ eligibility are offered for purchase upon product registration of a -KR part number within 30 days of the purchase date. - This includes the following suffixes: -K1, -K2, -KR
The 560 ti DS have suffix -KR!

Correct. KR Products purchased in 2011 = 3 years, registration recommended, options to upgrade for first 30 days after purchase when registered. ER/AR Products = Lifetime/10 Year when registered within 30 days, default to 1 year US/2 EU if not registered.
