I recently added a 80gb SSD drive and a razer keyboard to my arsenal like a month ago. For some reason just in the last 2 weeks I started getting BSOD here and there, not frequent but getting it.

Here's the data dump I have. also have the minidump.
Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:    BlueScreen
  OS Version:    6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
  Locale ID:    1033

Additional information about the problem:
  BCCode:    1e
  BCP1:    0000000000000000
  BCP2:    0000000000000000
  BCP3:    0000000000000000
  BCP4:    0000000000000000
  OS Version:    6_1_7600
  Service Pack:    0_0
  Product:    256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
  C:\Windows\Minidump\051011-10984-01.dmp
  C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-15750-0.sysdata.xml

right before the BSOD occurs, my keyboard stop responding then the bsod occurs.

BSOD can be a pain in the a-- to pinpoint.  You added the Razer keyboard and SSD about a month ago BUT the problems appeared about two weeks ago.  For one I would check to see what updates have been done since the time the BSOD began.  There have been a couple of times where I just restore to a point before a problem began.  I really prefer to know what the problem is but I'd rather have it go away then speed hours upon hours to find.

Second when your keyboard stops responding, does the mouse still work?  I added a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate a few months back.  I have not had any BSOD but there are times I have to restart of unplug and plug it back in.  If you have another keyboard, (maybe PS/2) you might want to use it for a while to see if you still get the BSOD.

Good luck

hello, the mouse still works when the keyboard stops doing anything.
I Have had a ps/2 keyboard in the past and that worked.

Looks like Razer put out a new driver for the Lycosa on May 3.  If you don't already have it, you should update.  I don't want to make you think that its the keyboard but my experiences with my Razer has shown me that it does not always play well with others.  If troubleshooting does not solve your problem, I would restore to a point just prior to when the BSOD began.

Well what do you know.  Now I wonder what it is exactly with the keyboard that is causing problems?

That is a Windows registry error. May I suggest a Windows reinstall, then see if you still have a problem?

The following are a few reasons for the Lycosa.sys error:>

(1) Lycosa.sys are caused by misconfigured system files.
(2) You try to install a program that is buggy.
(3) Hard disk error that may corrupt DLL and program files.
(4) Lycosa.sys is accidentally replaced by a corrupt file.
(5) Malware infection that may add malicious codes to files and generate errors.
(6) Other common causes of Lycosa.sys errors are virus or spyware infections, hard disk problems and Windows registry problems.

Thank you for providing the dump, can I suggest something?

Update your windows 7 7600 build to SP1 and install all the latest updates, you're not on SP1 yet, it may fix the problem.

also new drivers can conflict with other drivers if they share the same function. for example, I have an xbox 360 controller, and I downloaded a motioninjoy plugin for the PS3 to run on my pc wired and via bluetooth. when I installed the driver and bypassed the drivers signing certificate, the PS3 controller worked like a charm, however once I plugged in my xbox 360 controller, instant BSOD. it was hard to figure out the problem, but a simple driver in my system32 folder was the cause, and deleting it fixed everything.

since the controller shares the same HID-compliant hub, the .dll used to run the PS3 for motioninjoy was being used for the 360. since the driver signing was completely different between the two drivers, the computer couldn't figure out which one to use for each so it used the most recently updated one.

Since you know the new hardware you installed, take a minute and look up what the driver functions for each of the new hardware are, and find their location, google is a great way to hear other people complain of similar problems and can help you narrow down the issue, I know it's time consuming but I almost guarantee if the new thing you have has a driver package, it could be conflicting with some other driver you installed years ago for some odd thing that you probably don't use anymore and it was never deleted and/or your SP1 needs to be applied.

good luck!

thanks guys, I've updated to the latest lycosa driver and have not seen the error again, but if I do. I will certainly do a clean install.
as of right now, things seems to be back at normal.
