So the serial number sticker on the back PCB has just come off by itself and has absolutely no adhesive / glue on it, so i can't just stick it down again.

EVGA say that if this sticker is tampered with or damaged that warranty is void, but i'm not sure what to do at this point.

Advice?

This is what an Evga rep said in an older thread. "As long as you have the sticker from either the product or the product's box you will be OK for warranty. We do need to have a Serial Number to identify the product with so make sure you keep it on hand."

You should be good to go as long as you don't lose it.

Exact same thing happened to my 580, a member of staff will probably come in soon and ask you to email them a pic of the sticker exactly as youve shown just close up so they can keep it in their records incase u lose it. Just dont worry, you havent voided your warranty there.

yeah, just dont lose it. def dont try to stick it back on cause it will blow around and get shredded by your fans. EVGA knows this happens and are very understanding about it.

Yeah, you're fine as long as you don't lose it.  Keep it safe and if you ever have to call it, you can reattach it with some tape or something.

Yeah.. I got some water with red dye on mine and it fell apart when I tried to clean it.. EVGA still gave me the step-up to a gtx580 no questions asked.

As others have said if you want to take a picture of it I can document it for you, however should you need to RMA the card we do need that sticker. I recommend putting it in a safe place in a ziploc baggie. If you do need to RMA it please tape the ziplock baggie to the shroud, not the PCB.

Why dont you guys guys change the S/N design? This is a pretty common problem. And I understand going all out and etching in or something to that effect would be more expensive. But how about just a nicer decal sticker on the pcie side of the shroud?

It is ironic that the serial stickers come off so easy, but I can attest to the fact that shroud stickers are almost impossible to remove.
