    There is no black RCA S/PDIF jack on the SR-2 (contrary to what the RealTek Audio Manager software would lead you to believe), so the short answer is no.  The long answer is that there is an S/PDIF header on the mobo next to the audio header (opposite PCIe slot 3).  This is supposedly only for connecting to a video card with  an identical S/PDIF header and then to HDMI out:

    PCIe 1x sound cards with S/PDIF out are pretty inexpensive these days, so that's probably your best solution.  I didn't worry about it, because my video capture card has S/PDIF out.

    And while we're on the subject, the SR-2 does not have a Firewire connector either. At least, it's not readily apparent where the header for it is.

    @lamster,

    I had a couple other thoughts on this. First, here's a guide as to how to make a generic connector from the S/PDIF header on the mobo to an RCA plug.  With my previous post (from the EVGA FAQs) and a multimeter, you should be able to make a cable. Second, on some of the legacy RealTek onboard sound chips, the digital in and out was controlled by software and would appear at the analog ports on the mobo port bank on the back of the PC. The only way of really telling if this still works is to try plugging your digital decoder into the SR-2 black analog port (with an adapter) and then use the RealTek Audio manager to change the output from analog to digital. I doubt that this is the way that the SR-2 is set up, but you could ask EVGA support about it.

    You could also do a bit more Googling the Internet on this as there is a lot of stuff on RealTek HD audio onboard sound. For example, here is a pre-wired S/PDIF front plate. You could also rewire either one of these or these. It's somewhat interesting that EVGA doesn't make a backplate S/PDIF bracket, but the demand probably isn't there.
