I'm waiting on my second 570GTX SC
Currently i have 570GTX Vanilla
So I would like to know if I will be able to use these cards for SLI!?
If not then ill return 570 Vanilla and  get SC
Need some input from people that know about this! Thank you.
Oh and also answer on this 1. Is my Corsair 650GX will be enough? Without OC anything (YET untill i get another PSU if needed)
I've seen some1 using it but not sure about it.
Hope to hear something, my card coming in today.

as far as the SLI goes dont worry. The 570 are the same cards just different speeds. Your Precision will downlock the faster one to the Vanilla speed and you can take it up after that.

As far as the PSU goes im not sure if that would be enough honestly. You could be pushing your luck with that PSU

PUT your SC card on the top slot and it will run the vanilla card the same speed , i had this configuration with my old GTX 480

No, the faster one does NOT just automatically downclock to the faster one. I see people saying this all over the place and it is completely incorrect. When you activate SLI with cards that use different stock speeds, the driver defaults all cards in SLI to clock speed of the card in the primary slot. So for instance if he put his GTX570 SC in the top slot and the vanilla in the bottom if he activates SLI both cards will be set at the higher GTX570 SC speeds. And vice-versa if he put the lower clocked vanilla in the primary slot.

It is for this very reason that I recommend that people who SLI with cards that have different clock speeds always place their lowest clocked card in the primary slot. In the extremely unlikely event that the GTX570 vanilla can't match the SC speeds, he may experience instability. This is however virtually a non issue with today's cards however because 99.9% of the vanilla cards can easily run at the pre-overclocked cards speeds without issue.

Yes, you can use precision to force the cards to run at different frequencies if you wish, but it does not happen automatically, nor does it default to the lower clocked card's speeds arbitrarily.

Are you saying that Vanilla will OC it self to SC clocks? as bacicallyevolve said SC will Downclock to vanilla!?

Also its my 1st time doing SLI. Will i be needing new drivers? I guess specific for SLI?
TY all for input much appreciate

Read my post above concerning clock speeds.

As for drivers, no, you will not need any new specific ones. Just use the ones you already have. You may however need to reinstall the drivers after adding your 2nd card to your system.

Your electricity bill isn't going to go up by any large amount to be honest. unless you leave your system on 24/7 at full load it isn't going to impact you that much.

Want to hear something interesting?  My electricity bill actually went DOWN when I went from SLI GTX 470's to SLI GTX 580's.  These new cards are great!  Yes, on paper the 580 uses more power than the 470, but I think since my 580's run cooler overall (and much cooler at idle), overall I'm saving some power usage.  Big difference?  No, about $5-10, but even when I went to my 470's in SLI there was no massive power bill increase.  Fear not.

    -570 sli
-you could \should use maybe msi after burner with the auto  fan profiles. and beta #5 supports the 570 voltage un lock
-most sc seem to run at 1.027mv apox
    -some vanilla can be below 1.0.- I have 1 @.98[3d] load and the 2nd 1 @ 1.038[lol]
-so check the voltage\oc of the Vanilla[to run at sc clocks] ,to see if the voltage needs to moved up to match the sc .AB can match them up.

Yeah i have 2 SCs and 1 vanilla. The primary slot has an SC in it but with afterburner it makes all cards SC speeds with 797 on the core
