Ok My apologies Ride. Not wanting to sound totally illiterate I copied and pasted then filled in the info. So how do I use it? I know I know that sounds dumb, but no one has ever explained how to copy and use it or what ever the procedure is. Do like I did but paste the 3d link in the p score spot?

I think that you may have used the Vantage template rather than the Mark11 template.

i did bust 8300 though on pure H2O.

after you took my advice and over clocked your core..right? by 30 mhz from my guess. looks good.

as for your efficacy at your clocks.....it needs work, here's a run using your exact clocks...i think
 

my ram is only 1600 8-8-8-24 t2 i have it running @ 1866 9-10-9-27 t1 so that may be some pts on that side.

i turned off everything i can think of in Win7. i guess my card just isn't as efficient. when i said i'm done i just ment there isn't anything more i can think of to do. yes, i'm frustrated and P/Oed but not at you guys. i more mad that i hit a wall and cant think of the next step on my own.
early morning edit(yeah im still up): 275.50 drivers may be costing me about 50pts. rolled back to 275.33. will bench some more later tonight.

i only have the computer and monitor running on this circuit as far as i know. i would think a ax1200 would be enough for a 2600k and a 580. i do have an 850 laying around, are you saying maybe try running the video card off of that?

Double check your wall socket many times the builder will have many sockets on the same line. I think that a AX1200 is fine for your setup. I am not saying that you have anything wrong with your power just that it is something to look at that is often overlooked.

i tried a few things tonight with no luck. looking at hwbot.com my score is good enough for top 10 of the single card h20 posts. i tried shutting down everything in win7, messed with ram timings, tried a different power outlet and even tried running 2 psus on different circuits. i guess i need to figure out some software tweaks which i have been google-fuing all night with no love.

lol, it's just never high enough eh, isn't that the motto?

thats the whole point of O/Cing stock just wasnt enough to start! the sky was never the limit as there is always space beyond that.
