X58 sli Micro

hello guys i am getting some parts for a new pc and i am planning on going with a gtx 460, but later on SLI, my question is: are there any difference SLI wise wether i take a p55 board or this one? i do realize that with the x58 i need tri channel memory and an i7.
 
but what are the pros / cons?

    Yeah that's one of the best explanations I've seen of the x58 vs p55 differences.
    I had to make the same decision not long ago when I got my new x58 sli micro mobo.
    Although, I could've saved a wad of cash going the P55 route I chose to go x58 because I wanted to build a more future-proof rig. As mentioned 480's in SLI are already limited by the P55 so if new higher end Fermi's  or ATI card's come out anytime soon they will choke on the P55. Not to mention Sandy Bridge is coming out pretty soon making P55 obsolete.
