Is it normal for this service to take one or 2 mins to load? It might even be 3 but i have yet to time it. It just seems to take its merry time getting going. It always does start eventually.

Thanks
Mathieas

Simple fix for ya:

- Click on the lower left corner Windows icon
- Type services.msc
- Scroll down to Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Double click.
- Change the Startup Type from Automatic (Delayed Start) to Automatic.
- Reboot, and it should start right away!

Mathieas

Is it normal for this service to take one or 2 mins to load?

Mine works this way too. I have had eight drive dropouts bfr I updated to IRST and since have never had a glitch (5 mos). I think the delay was for a reason, and so I recommend you do not change it. Remember, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Main (gaming) rig: i7-3930K; Asus Rampage IV Extreme; H100 W/p-p Excaliburs, AS5; MSI 7870 2GD5/OC; Crucial M4 SSD 256GB.
See my primary ModsRigs: Adam for the rest, and I have a second (wife's) rig Asus Rampage III Extreme & 960: Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.
