Drivers 260.35 will contain the Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 fixes but won't be in next week's beta set.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a quick update everyone. It looks as if the driver version that fixes this issue is going to be 260.35 which is based on a branch that is slightly newer than the upcoming beta driver that is slated for this Monday. The follow up driver will contain all of the fixes for Gothic 1 and Gothic 2.

The above post is a total mess, preview looks fine but post it and no spaced, this forum has a bad habit of doing this.

Can this be fixed as the PREVIEW looks EXACTLY like I typed it before I hit the POST button ?

Edit (going to try fix above with some temporary measure).

NVIDIA has been very good about releasing drivers every few weeks. In fact right now they are releasing drivers far more frequently than they did when Vista was released

Peeps on Guru3D are crying for drivers but TBH you get them as and when needed not for sake of it.

Some of them are a bit too anal TBH !

Nvidia a while back on Vista (before Win 7 was near RTM) were giving a new Beta driver for very major big title Demo and Full game release.

Personally I do not F5 the Nvidia driver page every 5mins or even every day or week.

WHQL means nothing TBH, its only signed off by MS and can take weeks at MS.

A WHQL driver can be flawed, looked the the one that caused many users to have overheating Nvidia GPU's and was pulled !

If you have a new Demo and it runs like crap and Nvidia give out a Beta for it you would be best to grab it.

Nvidia did this for Riddict games and it ran 10x better IMO.
