Hi,

I've got a big problem, and still don't find a solution.

My computer freeze at the "starting windows" screen, where it should show the animation of the windows 's logo.

The ONLY I did, is to update my BIOS of my EVGA X58 758 from unknown version to the BIOS 64.

I can NOT boot with the win7x64 DVD.
But I can launch the install of vista with the DVD.

I have a SLI of XFX 9800GTX+ (complete configuration follow)
When I remove one of my graphic card, the system boot normally
And when I plug the second card : freeze at starting windows screen
In addition the 2 card works well when I tryed them one at a time.
Before I updated the BIOS all was ok, and the SLI works well.

What I tried :
put the BIOS 59 : didn't solve the problem.
set to default the BIOS option : didn't solve.
unplug all unnecessary external components, now I only have a USB keyboard (don't have a PS2 one) one HDD (SATA2 Seagate 500GB) and one DVD-ROM drive (by IDE) : didn't solve the problem.
launch install of win7x64 with one graphic card : it works
With only one monitor at a time : didn't solve.

EDIT : While the Safe Mode, the last line is about CLASSPNP.SYS

configuration :

EVGA X58 758
Intel Core i7 920
3* 2Go OCZ DDR3 (tri-channel)
2 * XFX 9800GTX+ (and another one in stock (I planned to make a 3-way, the 3 card have the same model number))
TAGAN BZ 800W
win 7 x64
monitors : 2 19' (Acer by VGA and Viewsonic by DVI)

I'm open to ANY suggestion.
Thanks

Since your second video card is clearly related to the issue, and assuming it's not overtaxing your PSU, try uninstalling your video drivers, (use drive cleaner in safe mode) and then rebooting with default Windows video drivers. While the results might look ugly, if the problem disappears you could then play with different versions of video drivers. A long shot but worth a try.

Are you using a preconfigured overclocking profile?  If so, try just booting at defaults.  If you never loaded defaults after flashing the BIOS, do so now.

Second, make sure your memory is setup for the proper speeds timings and voltages.

Third, try setting your init display first (PCI/PNP configuration) to PCI EX.  Also set your memory low gap to 1.5G (if the cards are only 512mb) or 2G (if the cards are 1GB each).  The last setting can be found in Freq/Volt. Control > Memory Feature.

Oh, so FINALLY I solved my problem
I write how I did to help people he they get the same :

First I kept the XFX 98GTX+ (DF) PCIe 0512MB - Rev 03 (62.92.62.00.0A) on the 2 first XFX graphics cards, but I flashed the bios of the third card from rev.01 to rev.04 (62.92.6D.00.08)
Rev.03 crash the computer at the startup, I don't know why.

BUT, with any BIOS configuration on graphic card I HAD TO put IX58-SZ18 bios on my motherboard. If I flashed to a newer version of bios of my motherboard, it crashed at startup.
    I'm agree it's really strange.

I may try to test with rev.04 and rev.05 of the three card at the same time and with a newer bios of the motherboard.

    So to summarize :
MB EVGA SZ18 + 2* GC XFX rev.03 + GC XFX rev.04 = OK with 3-SLI, SLI or standard mode
