Well after a lot of work and a lot of time its finally finished:
Building the drive enclosure was time consuming, it took a fair amount of time due to the large amount of pop rivets needed to hold it all together. The sides and bottom are held together with glue (note the little blocks to give more surface area). The mesh on the sides and top are screwed in allowing some what easy removal. The front power button is also screwed in so that in the even of a failure it can be replaced, the front display is glued in.

Note the side fans for HDD, CD/DVD, Media card cooler.

Showing the pop rivets and bottom feet

The clear part in the black plastic is for the remote, the little slot is DVD drive, the bottom area is a multi-type card reader

The internals

Now for the finished product, the "wheel" on the front is for use in Windows Media Center and Hulu Desktop.
