How many people say it like EV-GAH? How many people say it like E.V.G.A.? Also, is EVGA an acronym for something like Epic Video Graphics Adapter?  Or is it just a name? EDIT: Answer: Doesn't stand for anything.

it's E.V.G.A, and according to evga it doesn't stand for anything, although if you google it, you will come up with a few meanings.

Evga doesnt stand for anything. It was reference to E commerce boom when Evga was starting. Like Ebay.

Oh wow fail on my part for not using the search. Anyways I brought this up because I was playing DOTA (Famous Warcraft 3 Custom Game) earlier and someone was asking the right way to say it. Most people say it like Dough-Tah like in the song from Basshunter which is about playing that game, but I personally say it like D.O.T.A. (Defense of the Ancients) just like I say E.V.G.A.

didnt they used to have it as little e Capital VGA = eVGA, before it changed to all capitals? As others have said the E is just a reference to E Commerce/Online but i always used to think it stood for "eXtreme VGA" (because of it originally being eVGA). I say EVGA as individual letters, E V G A, to answer the OP's question.

If you call them on the phone they clearly say "E.V.G.A.," not EVGUH  This topic seems to come up about once every 2-3 months, it'd be nice if a mod made a sticky w/ an explanation...

I say E V G A. Back when eVGA was the way one would see the corporation's name, it seemed like the name was a combination of the letter e, and VGA, so "ev ga" never occurred to me.
