Alright before I did the Major Upgrades, here was the original purchase of some of the parts.
Original PC case before getting sent to Otis to be be painted and drilled for new fan holes, including other parts.
    Boxed Cosmos II:

    Cosmos II Unboxed:

Replaced H100 with Complete Water-cooling. Upgraded PSU to NEX1500 due to having 4x gtx 680's and 20+ Fans.
(Will probably put the old stuff into a Old PC)

    Speakers, SSD, Memory and others

All my parts and case in Otis hands.... he know's what he's doing!!

Before I decided to do this Custom Theme and Build, I had built everything in here from my old purchases. Thank god Evga has a Step up Program Or I would a been stuck with my old 500 series cards.
Case and all parts have been sent to Otis Fatz to get painted and modded. Custom Paint was done by his Brother Kevin, professional car painter. Did an awesome Job. I had to Grab my Vin Number from my Mustang to match the exact Paint. Otis also guided me on purchasing the watercooling parts since this would be the first time doing this. For any jobs that you guys want to do these guys get it done and professionally at that!

The Cut's I wanted done to the top part of the case to fit the 4 120mm Radiator in Push Pull Config.
Honestly got this Idea From Cooler Meister Mod of the Cosmos II. So thanks goes to him for helping with the idea. I know Otis woulld probably go above and beyond the call of duty lol.

Alright, got notified by Otis the first half of the Paint Job was done. Kevin did a freaking awesome job.
    Here's Some Pics.

Remember last Post? I said it was only the first part of the paint job? What Cobra Themed PC wouldn't look good without Bright White Stripes?

If Anyone is wondering about the paint color it is Metallic Kona Blue. It's almost a purple/bluish color. Nice Bright Blue during the day if in light/sun. Mid day-ish it starts looking dark almost like a midnight blue hence the tint of purple. At Night Looks really Dark almost can be deemed Black but still has the tint of Blue. I only know this because my mustang is the same color.

Here are the final pictures of the custom paint job done by Kevin. Awesome job bro, now give it to Otis so we can get down to business!

Went to Ikea to get a decent Width x Length Desk. Low and behold I found the Perfect One... As a matter of fact I bought 2! lol.
While the case is in Otis' hands, I decided to check out how everything would look setup wise. I put the 3 monitors together and the sound system up.

This is what it would look like:
(Reminder these were the old S23a700D Monitors I bought. These are replaced by the New Samsung Series  9 27inch S27B970D)

    More to come.

Alright wanted to make sure everything was suited for the theme.
So like I stated before I purchased a 5.0 Emblem and a Cobra Emblem from a  3rd party car site.
Otis received them and said it would look awesome on the theme.
    They look sick!!!!

Here they are mounted @ Otis place. (Before Case was painted)

Also got in contact with an Artisan for a Custom Quad SLI bridge for the Cards. I came up with this Idea... Don't knock me my paint skills are far from great.
Wanting to Take the Super Snake Emblem and incorporate it into a SLI Cover that has space in between to attach a DIY light so it stands out more.  Sketch Below and Artisans actual work.

    Artisans Original Work

The Version I Would Like for the Bridge Cover (Same Style Cover Engraved with the Super Snake Emblem):

Alright got the order placed should be receiving the SLI Cover sometime OCT 10th. Waiting on it is so killer cant wait.

Re:[RIG] Custom Theme Super Cobra GT 5.0 2012/09/23 14:05:10 (permalink)
Theme is a Super Snake Cobra from Ford. So far so good.
Also everything will be sleeved, matching a white & blue overlap for all wiring.
Otis will be doing all that, so many wires so much time!

I ran Into a problem. My original setup had 3x Gtx 570's with an Asus Xonar Essence STX. Everything fit great. However,
while upgrading to 4x GTX 680 Classified's. I don't have any room for my Essence STX. I miscalculated and forgot the 680's take 2 bays. Without a modification to the card itself I won't be able to fit it in.
Well, I did some searching and found exactly what I needed, a PCI 1x Extender right off of amazon. It was really cheap too.

I'm gonna connect this extender to the PCI 1x slot and run the cable behind the cards. Hopefully it's as easy as what I said and for Otis to do.  Also, he will probably paint the ribbon cable too, just to match the color scheme. It will camouflage the ribbon and look clean as well. My sound card placement issue is over, 4x 680's going down then the last card will be the sound card.

There was another problem when doing this build. With the top cover being cut for the additional fan, the PCB board wouldn't fit underneath. Cooler Meister already found the answer to this by purchasing a 24 pin Extension Ribbon. I looked around my local retailers and online, but I couldn't find it. Not even online stateside retailers had the product I was looking for. I logged onto Amazon.com and searched for the ribbon. The only company that sold it was UXCELL, which is owned and operated in Hong Kong, China.
Only sad part 18-20 Days Delivery....... DAMN YOU OVERSEAS SHIPPING!!!!!!!

Alright finally caught up with this build Log. Otis sent me more pictures of what hes been doing. Looking really sweet
Sleeving is being done and probably the most time consuming part of the process.

WaterBlocks have been installed on to the Rampage IV Extreme:

To help with the low amp's per header on the motherboard, I purchased a 30watt 6 channel fan controller LCD. It looks pretty sweet. I'm probably gonna have this get painted as well.. It's a Lamptron FC Touch. This will help me control the 20+ Excalibur fans going into this build. Not gonna connect any of the fans to the motherboard and connect them from a 3 Pin Power Distribution PCB.
PSU -> PCB -> Fans -> Fan Controller

Stay Tuned for More Updates when they become available!!!!

Alright, I got an email and it said the classifieds are coming in today. Man... Time was going so slow waiting on these bad boys, it was worth the wait!

One of the boxes came in damaged, but when inspecting the inside and the seal, everything was OK!

Not one... Not two.... Not three...... But........ FOUR!!!

Also got one more surprise of the day, an Asus RT-AC66U Wireless Router. Best possible router in my opinion!

Alright, now I need the Hydro Copper Water Blocks and Back plates for the Classifieds. I checked online... Evga and everywhere else is sold out. C'mon Evga... Daddy needs a new quad pair of water blocks!!!!!

Another product came in, which I'm very excited about. The Evga SuperNOVA NEX1500 PSU.
Now this bad boy has super quality that I have never seen in any other PSU. The PSU itself is just amazing  from the design, specs, and the ball bearing fan inside. The SuperNOVA is also modular which makes it a plus. I'm gonna have to get a personal electric line installed to take advantage of the 1650w feature, but that's to be expected. I was definitely amazed by the sleeving job done on these cables. Never had a PSU of this quality or raw power before. Evga hit it right on the head. Hope to see them make more PSU's in the future and corner the market on PSU's, GPU's, and Mobo's.

Now for the bad part... Since the case has it's own custom theme. Otis is  going be removing the sleeving they had done. The sleeving that's going on here is gonna be white and blue, overlapping each other. Also he's going to be removing the red connectors for the VGA ports and replacing them with some black connectors. The Red connectors are awesome dont get me wrong, but it's just that it wouldn't go with the theme. Here's some Pic's

As for the connectors purchased: 16x 2 pin, 16x 6 pin and 8x 8 Pin.

More to come. C'mon EVGA Get those Hydro Blocks instock!!!!! lol

Just ordered the GTX 680 Classified back-plates.
Still need the Hydro Coppers... Earlier today it was in stock on Evgas site but it sold out so fast.
Also went on NewEgg and ordered the Prolimatech PK-3 Thermal Compound. Think it would be a great companion  with the 4x classifieds and 3930k.

Really trying to think hard right now, whether it's worth getting the evbot and doing some over volting to O/C these cards. Tried to look all over and see what was the most performance boost via percentage. Most said it was 5-10% increase in comparison to regular overclocking without touching voltage. Trying to prep myself, in-case these cards randomly give out on me later, since the legacy versions with the evbot port will not be in production anymore.

What does everyone else think? Any dedicated sites to O/C and O/V these Classifieds? Couldn't find any that showed specifics, only major sites that reviewed the card.

To evbot or not to evbot. That is the Question.

Alright got the Hydro Copper Blocks ordered. FrozenCPU has them on pre-order and it will ship out on the 12th. Once I get everything pictures will go up. Maybe a Video or just pictures of me taking apart the Classified, applying the Pk-3, then installing HC.
    Gotta see. Cheers all!
