Welcome back Mike. I understand about using what you have. It's unfortunate Stanford has reduced the older cards performance, with regards to folding. Glad to have you back folding with us!

Welcome back. Just food for thought.
I have seen GTX970 sell for as low as 140$ on a couple big computer forums.
EVGA warranty transfers to the new owners as guest warranty. It is for the 3 year time frame since it left the factory.
Many used cards have a year or two warranty left on them.
So if you wanted to go SLi or run into a few extra bucks. I am a big proponent of buying used parts and putting them to good use.

As said don't forget to use your passkey and fold with forum name and start collecting some EVGA bucks for that upgrade in the future.

Welcome back miketransamkid!
It is too bad the BigAdv days are gone, but I am with Bill1024 - I am running some used 780tis and getting competitive points folding/crunching. They are not as productive or efficient but they were free. I have seen some very affordable prices on used cards and that is where the folding game is at now

I'm right there with you mike.  I've been out of the game for a while, and just got started with the 2016 Time Zone Challenge.  Hoping to upgrade hardware soon as my 560ti only gets about 10K a day.
