Thanks for your help.  I got it all worked out.  I removed the app_info.xml, restarted boinc.  Turns out muon1 caused the GPU usage to drop.  Shut that down and GPU utilization went to 90%.  I changed to running Poem on the CPU along side Collatz, and GPU is still at 90%  I will keep running muon on my main rig.

Glad to hear the GPU usage is up. I ran into the same issue running QMC CPU alongside Collatz CUDA.

Eventhough I've Collatz Conjecture running concurrently with MOUN1 and other CPU-based projects in the same home rig, its GPU Usage is 99%. The "optimized applications" implementation (see post #6 of this thread) is performing just 1 instance of work only.

Nonetheless, I love linuxrouter's method that shoots out more than 1 instance of work where there is NO optimized application available for the project.

I don't claim to be more enlightened - in fact I think MOBAJOBG is more on top of things than anyone - but here are the active people on each project at the moment:

CPU:
1.  Muon1 (non BOINC) - Opolis
2.  Malariacontrol - 11 active
3.  POEM@Home - 11 active
4.  RNAWorld@Home - 6 active
5.  Enigma@Home - 4 active
6.  OGR-27 (non BOINC) - Punchy, rjbelans

GPU:
1.  Collatz Conjecture - 12 active

Internet:
1.  Majestic-12 - 6 active

I'm going to move one of my systems back to Muon1 based on this - but Moun1 looks like one of the "tougher nuts to crack".

Is there a way to request to have the LHC projects including Sixtrack and Test4Theory added to DC-Vault?

You can request them on the forum there.  http://www.team-ninja.com...forumdisplay.php?f=120 has a sticky with the process, and you may be able to find if those have already been requested.

Do you thing muon1 is worth pursuing?  We haven't moved at all, and I currently only have my 920 @ 4.2 running it.  Would switching to Poem be a bigger help?

Nice work, all!   40th is about 4,000 points away, so it will take a little work to move up there.  However, once 40th is taken, the next 5 places can be taken with less than 3,000 points!

Like Punchy said, the climbing does get tougher the higher you go.  However, any time you can pass a team ahead of you in the vault in any project, it's almost like earning double points for that project since your foe also loses points for falling back a spot.   As the air gets thinner in some projects, you might keep that in mind.

None of us is as strong as all of us.

Have to confess...I have not yet "plundered", but "did sleep in a Holiday Inn...", no wait, wrong comment.    I just moved my 2600K boxen over to Malariacontrol.net and have jobs queued to start once my current WCG projects complete.  Sorry guys, I was later to join than expected, but am here now.

Hehe, we finally have the "right" Cosmology@Home team listed, which pulled that team up 523 places and almost 3300 DC Vault points at once.  I had sent Rusty a message some time during the Vault "lockdown".  Yet another reason to thank him!

Hey Guys,

Wow, you guys almost bought a tear to my eye. I did say almost! :-)

I though if you all could take the time to show your support, the least I could do is pop by the actual forum and find out if there was a thread dedicated to it.. LOL. or something. Especially the way, you all seem to flood in like a EVGA strike force. I was starting think the tank fire and artillery wasn't far away. BOOM!

It was very nice to there are people out there, that actually understand, that people have real lives and sometimes they take a small priority over everything else. You know the drill....

I will have to admit, I am no super star of the www.DC-Vault.com[shameless plug again :-).. Man I'm good]. All I do is run it, market it. The coding work is done by Nanobot and most of the server work is done by Chelle. So you could basically say I am just a receptionist for the Vault.

In regards to the person who posted.. Well he is a very sad man, he gets his kicks from getting people like me fired up to the point, I either quit, or fix the problem after I have calmed down and start to feel guilty for letting things slide.

Anyway's enough of the mushy life history crap..

Thanks for the support. Please feel free to continue to email me your requests or questions.

Another idea for your hardest of hardcore crunchers, get them to pop by the forum every now and then, check out what new projects are going around, post about new ones or just simply add to the positives and negatives of the project.

My goal for the Vault is to include as many projects as I can. This way it spreads the points score over a greater number of projects and hopefully giving all teams a better race/fight.
