Thanks to the crunching of AvengingAngel and Opolis, we're less than 20 days from the next spot in Muon1! I hope to be back up and running at the end of the week to help shrink that countdown to overtake a little more.

I'm back up and running, so I'll hold down the Muon1 fort while you guys go out and medal in the Prime Grid Olympics! Great crunching over there, everybody!

I've been trying out different WU's from several projects, and ran across FightMalaria @ Home and malariacontrol . net. Fightmalaria has 30min WU, and I'm waiting to see what malariacontrol.net times are. Is there a reason fighmalaria has a low amount of teams? Are we staying away from this project - or preferring malariacontrol over the other? thanks.

first, you can run whatever you want to support. Malariacontrol is in the DC Vault, so that´s where we´re concentrating on. What cpu are you using? A stock 2600k (3.5 Ghz) takes between 30 min and 2h for a malariacontrol tasks. Our efforts are showing: climbed up to #16

Thanks, I found the link to the dc vault - projects. That gave me a better idea of what projects are being worked on, and their ranks.

Very cool... next stop 14th place. That's going to take some time. I'm still working Primegrid now that the weather is cooling down. Got me some of them long run ones... been going four days so far on and off (again, weather related). I'll be hitting Seti, GPUGrid, WCG, Einstein and YoYo... on and off for the month. Try to round out our numbers.

I did a quick spreadsheet to crunch some numbers concerning our stats at the Vault. Here's what I cam up with: Given what I've seen and the knowledge of what I know this team is capable of, I'm thinking we look really good at this point and are poised to take a few more positions to help balance the overall score. Nice work folks.

The team as a whole has moved up one notch in one category - Physical Science and in a seperate category we moved up two notches in Bio and Med and Physical Science. Way to rock.

Nice work by the Eon crunchers, nabbing quite a few places at 20 points/place, including 3 more yesterday! That really helps the physical science category.....as well as the overall score. The next couple of days should see a nice 100+ point bump from Muon1 as well, with more lurking on the horizon.

Will be switching some of the work load to folding but my goal for PRP is 10th place by year end. Throw some Muon1, Eon, Simap, and Lattice for good measure.

Not so much of a plunder anymore for me.... Two systems somewhat spread between a few projects and my main one focusing on my lowest-scored cpu only project and gpu project....

My production will spike back up once I am done helping our Folding part of our team. I am giving back to a few members the past few months for the help they gave me a few years ago after the loss of our son

I'm with you there AB. I've got everything folding until the end of this month for the cause. Then I'm back to crunching.

Can I suggest an assault on Collatz in the near future? Strictly a points grab! Although our nearest threat is 30 days out, we've been sitting at 162 for quite a while. The team at 161 is outproducing us about 2-1 on average, but 5 of the next 6 teams are sitting idle. If we decided on a sustained attack for 5-7 days, I think we could break into the top 150 pretty easily. I know it's a math project but the nice thing about it is that older/lesser cards run very well on it and you could leave your better cards to fold or whatever. I've been getting nothing but P 762x wu's folding for over 3 weeks now and the point's are horrendous @ -30% of normal. I would still leave 2 cards folding to help hold off [H]. Just a suggestion.

I do collatz all the time. Once I'm finished with my promise to the folding team, I'll pop that back up and start crunching.
