I fully support this. i have to get all my evga stuff off ebay, thus no warranties :(

Well very keen on this would save a lot of muckin around to get two GTX680 cards. As at the moment I have to order through comgateway I get email then Comgateway says that site no stock availabile then whole process starts again and again.
Thanks and would love to buy direct from AUS to save time and money as I love GOOD products and mean I love Good Products.

I would also love an easy way to get EVGA products in Aus. I'm currently going to pretty much every local computer store and trying to get one of them to special order me one from their suppliers. I'm trying to get the Hydro Copper version and it doesn't look like ill be getting it for much less than AU$999... if I can even get one al all :(.

If you want to buy it from within Australia I will send you the details when I get home from work, it's the Asia/Pac manager and they can arrange it for you. The price of the existing Hydro cards were more around $760 delivered but not $999 as you mentioned. I would happily pay $760 for the 680 hydro as that's what I have paid now to have one sent over from the USA.
 
I am sure Joe will kill me for posting this as I have emailed him a dozen times myself! but all of you should do the same, you need to let them know.

/signed I've had 'troubles' getting EVGA cards here since I started using them exclusively with the 200 series. I would love better support, and am excited to hear about the new global warranty!

The global warranty is fantastic, no more having to send a card back to the original purchase country for RMA etc.
 
As supporters of the eVga brand, we would really love an eVga store that offers the full range of products, with decent availability, and a reasonable price.
 
At the moment, it's hunt around stores online, or get them to special order the item for you, and pay a ridiculous amount for it( quite often you can find a  price from a Hong Kong or US e-tailer that is cheaper -including international postage - than buying in Australia.

a 480 4536mb SC for $468
a 580 1536mb SC is $595
a 5803GB is $669

I too sign your petition! I too am from OZ and I too am sick of being ripped off because the product has evga on it! This is why I have NOT bought an evga product for the last couple of years...........I just can't afford it!
 
EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2GB=$699AU. Our dollar is buying $1.039US at the moment so why so high when any import under 1K has no tariff?

Come on.  They give us beautiful, tan, surfer girls with accents that can melt you like butter...the least we can do is give them is the ability to purchase from EVGA and have you FedEx them product.  I am not sure why it would have been so hard to do anyways.  I live in MD and if I have to RMA I have to ship it all the way to Cali anyways.  It probably takes the same time and effort to ship there as it does to ship here.

I would suspect it all has to do with import/export laws and where the product is shipped from.  Remember there are only 3 major offices for EVGA (shipping/receiving offices); US office, EU (Germany) office, and Asia/Pacific (Taiwan) office.  To fulfill all orders to Australia, they would have to have all product available in a Australian office or ship it out of Taiwan.  Those costs can be high and the transaction would probably not be in US or AU dollars, but probably in Taiwan's dollars, which negates the US/AU exchange rate argument.
 
It sounds like what Joe wants to do is to try to help figure out why eTailors and shops are charging so much for EVGA products so as to try to bring that cost down.  Perhaps they are going through a few middle-men companies which jacks the price up.
 
Adding an actual EVGA store down under would be a major undertaking, which is why I post this thread in my signature to keep the pressure on.  It sounds like Joe wants to start with the short term fix before tackling the long term fix.
