Made an account so I could post in here.
Have been looking at buying an evga gpu for a while but am still hesitating. I would pull the trigger if the step up program was available here (more comparable prices would also be nice).

So is the EVGA step up program available in Australia? Because it's the only reason for me for getting the EVGA 980. Because if it's not I'll just buy it from another brand that's cheaper. (EVGA is $779.00 where other brands are around $699)

Another vote.
In the market for some 980tis, would prefer EVGA but will end up buying what is actually available to me, choice is limited!
Shame I can't just buy the ones available right now in the EVGA store.

So here we are in March of 2016 and a quick check reveals that still, not much has changed?
I've had the 2GB 770 SC 2.0 for going on three years now. The card is great and I'm intent on sticking with EVGA but it's disappointing to stumble across this thread and learn that Australians are still not being supported as legitimate customers. Still no Step-Up program? How efficient are RMA's for Australians? I've been considering a 970 for a few months just to get the 4GB of VRAM, but with Pascal on the horizon now I'm dreading what that means for Australian pricing. I paid pretty much the same three years ago for the 770 + backplate as I would right now for the FTW+ 970. Any chance the Australian pricing of 980Ti's will drop when Pascal drops?
The previous post was made in June of 2015 so I won't worry about a reply. This thread was created March 31 2012, so four years later Australians still just can't love you as much as we want to.
Oh EVGA.

The more they see our need, the more likely they are to provide direct sales to us. And then the "petition" is full of signatures from USA people who are like "meh, ok, I will sign... why not?". The petition doesn't really show a need or demand for Australia sales when it is signed by 60 people; the majority of which are completely indifferent and just signed for the sake of displaying their apathetic support to their peers. If you want it to mean anything, remove everyone for the list who don't live in Australia or otherwise have zero interest in the "cause" and only signed for the sake of displaying to their peers that they support something. I support you going to the fridge to make a sandwich. Yep... When it has zero influence on me, my "support" is very shallow, huh?
