why the heck am I now getting this message everytime I run COD advanced warfare? at first I would restart my pc and all was good. now its a constant issue. going to try reinstalling steam and the game to see if this fixes the problem. frustrating

    What drive is your paging file on, and how much space is left on it? Grab a copy of WinDirStat, and let it scan the system. It'll show you where your drive usage is at.

    Likely you're running out of space and the game may be trying to run/download a patch or update.
     
    If you are indeed running out of space, I'd recommend clearing out anything not used and getting rid of those temp files.

    I put all my games on a raptor drive. totally separate from C drive. its a 300 gb with 235 gb of free space. mabey the drive itself is crapping out. reinstalling the steam and the game atm. will report back after. thanks fellas

    Did you try downloading more memory?

    If your playing threw steam its a steam issue dude.

    #1 Make sure your HDD that has the game installed onto it has at least 30GB of free space.
    #2 Make sure your page file is set to system managed.
    #3 Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Advanced Warfare\Players2\config_mp.cfg and change the below entries to the following...

    seta sm_cacheSpotShadows "Disabled"
    seta sm_cacheSunShadow "Disabled"
    seta sm_enable "0"
    seta r_fill_texture_memory "0"
     
    #4 Reboot PC and launch COD.

    It's a broken game and this error happens on and off, nothing is wrong with your system.

    It's a broken game and this error happens on and off, nothing is wrong with your system.

    The game does have a fair amount of issues but I've never personally encountered the out of memory error myself.
