  I just upgraded my graphics card from an evga gtx560 to gtx970.  Mother board is ASUS M5A97 rev 1.0, cpu is AMD fx8150 eight core processor, 3.60 GHz, 16gb ram.   I don't play games much, but mostly need a graphics card for rendering in Poser, Daz, and photoshop.  After installing the gtx 970, I am seeing less than 5% improvement in render times using Poser firefly from the gtx560 to gtx970 which is disappointing, since the 970 is supposed to be a considerably better card.  Can the gtx970 be set up to optimize rendering vs. gaming?  Anybody know if there are settings within Poser 2014 to optimize use of the gtx970?  I don't know a way to see how much the gtx is contributing to the work load.  Seems to me renders may just be using the cpu?
