final touch to the project with current component setup (plus minor extras), sleeving of all extensions nearly completed. swapped the tubing to Feser Active UV Blue (Primochill Primoflex has plasticizer leeching issues, do NOT buy it!), news pics coming soon, hopefully on or shortly after this weekend

what happened to teh original side panel with the large fan?  the case looks familiar (i have a kandalf which is the same thing with different front and side panel well unless you changed teh fan side panle for a non fan side panel :D

anyway looks good but i still wanna know what happened to teh original large fan side panel LOL

it died (stalled) after 3 years. anyways that side door panel with fan was an upgrade I did shortly after getting the case, but I kept the original plexi door (without a fan) and that is what I am using now (just painted inside black)
I still have the side door with a (dead) fan in the closet.

I never liked that 25cm side panel fan as it was very slow (600rpm) so the extra air flow was insignificant, nearly nonexistent and on top of that it was blowing tremendous amounts of dust into my case (there was no filter on it while I have filters on front intake bay covers).

Final pics of this rig will get updated soon (after all of most recent upgrades) once I put everything back together. You can see some teasers (3 pics from the end of last month) in my MR.

i am offended by your sig so you need to remove it.

Nice!  I miss my old TT Armor case.  It served me well up until I got my DDT29.  The Armors are very rugged and very modable cases.  If I still had mine in this stage of the game I would have probably gone the route you did with it.  Nice work!

Thank you very much for the kind words Nikko
Those old Armor cases were a beast back in the day and for long time never even considered a new case ... until I saw a new trend giving the benefits of tray cutouts and black interior ... that got me thinking ... now once the "surgery" is done I have no regrets, this case still is a beast and I won't part with it for along time ... soon enough I will probably become a proud owner of the oldest (still in use as a main rig) case among MR ha ha!

I lost my 3770K cpu though, there was something quirky about it from Day1 however ... recently noticed it degraded like hell when I tried to dial in the former stable benching clocks ... well it ended up in Intel RMA. I should be getting my fresh replacement on tomorrow evening (1 week turnaround time, pretty decent!)

Once that done I will complete this project (for now) and take some photos of all goodies in action , hopefully all works out this time around!

For now I can think of only 3 more upgrades to my system (in my crappy financial reach), but I will leave it for (near) future ... all I can say is 2 of them coming in by the end of year

Final Project PICS uploaded to original post

In meantime decided also to abandon my Z77 FTW as it doesn't fulfill my expectations and carries some weird issues. soon will be swapping boards with asus maximus v extreme instead of evga z77 ftw, nothing else changes, just hoping to get more suitable platform for my daily use and hoping it solves the quirks I am experiencing now (and have been for last 2 moths) with z77 ftw ...
