For the longest time SLI would disabled other monitors.
Example you have monitor A.) on the left and Monitor C.) on the right while you game on monitor B.)
Once you would enabled SLI you can only use monitor b.)
What changed? When did nvidia finally implrement being able to use sli while still using the monitors in extended mode to say (monitors temps/tasks/run games in windowed mode so you can browse on other monitors.
