Hello Forum,

I have a nforce 790i ultra sli motherboard with a GTX 580 gpu. I would like to upgrade to dual GTX 970 SLI to play Witcher 3!
I have been reading on problems this motherboard have when connecting newer GTX cards in SLI mode
Does anyone know if it can be done?

Thank you for your help

That's not a good idea. Not only would the CPU be a huge bottleneck for the performance, it's not likely that the system would boot with a 970 installed. You should look into upgrading your motherboard first, then your cards.
